It's behind a 'paywall' but  when the page first loads for a brief few seconds it's shows the whole article, if you're quick you can copy it and then paste it somewhere to read.

'Aston Villa are poised to take their summer spending to £75 million with the captures of Emiliano Martinez and Bertrand Traore....'

Telegraph

The relevant part:

“Dean Smith, the Villa head coach, is still keen on signing another striker and winger, but will now move to trim his squad before the transfer window closes next month.

After the arrival of Martinez, Villa will seek to offload two goalkeepers with Orjan Nyland and Lovre Kalinic facing the exit door.

Nyland played in last season’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester City and will be made available, while £6 million signing Kalinic will also be moved on.

Tom Heaton, the England international, is expected back from a knee injury after the international break in October, while Jed Steer is viewed as a capable deputy.

Smith could allow £8 million forward Mbwana Samatta to leave if he succeeds in signing another striker.

Villa will also listen to offers for Frederic Guilbert, Jota and Henri Lansbury as Smith moves to reduce the size of his squad for the season.”

Yeah can see the logic. Personally, as a fan who hasn't seen a lot of Matty Cash play, I'd rather keep Freddy just in case things don't work out with Cash. Though, I'm sure those at the club are better equipped to judge the situation.

Me too, but if cashing in those players means getting another decent forward rather than a stocking filler, then it moves us forward

Twitter suggesting our interest in Benrahma is being rekindled.

If this is true its bad news!

In all likelihood it means either Rasica is off, or worse still Jack!

Prem news Twitter account saying we contacted Mepham the CB that signed for Bournemouth from Brentford that we were supposed to be interested in when at Brentford

Good move if true, we are light in defence and Mepham scores goals!

If we're going for another striker, maybe we could try for this guy. Looks a good player by this evidence...

It's good to see that lockdown hasn't affected the crowds over there.
