Unbelievable goal from Grealish.

Whelan with the left wing corner, Grealish is hovering on the edge of the D.  Whelan spots him and pings it over - Grealish meets it where the D meets the penalty area and absolutely batters a volley past Carson.

Outrageous goal.

What a half!  Arguably the best half of football we've played in the entirety of our time in the Championship.  Every single player who has been criticized for not putting in effort is busting a gut today off the ball, pressing, making runs, and full of confidence again.  It's amazing what one player can do to an entire team.  UTV!!!

Absolutely superb half, for all the criticism over the past few months, today everyone has been superb.

Hourihane is having his best 45 of the season, Whelan hasn't put a foot wrong. Jack has been Jack.

Elmo has almost been playing as a winger, and the wingers have been a lot more consistent then usual.

Most enjoyable 45 mins this season, well played Villa, well played.

Similar to Scoles?  Same end?

Yep.  I'm normally his biggest critic, but he's working in space and actually getting forward rather than hanging back.  It's making a HUGE difference.

That's what he should be doing.  We know he's not a typical midfielder.  He's our only midfield player to score a hat-trick since David Platt, isn't he?  Could get another today.
