If he wants to be an all round elite box to box midfielder then he does need to get better at heading. Gerrard has said he is like a sponge. useless Posted May 15, 2022 Share Posted May 15, 2022 We missed him massively today, and made a big difference when he came on, his link up with players around him is better than any of our other midfielders, as is his ability to pick up the ball and drive forward with it. Unless it's against a top three or four team, then whenver he's out Chukwuemeka should be his replacement, as he's the closet we've got to Ramsey, in terms of ability to drive forward with the ball and having good link up play with players around him.
