The final projected points total will currently be 71 points that is points after 46 games. Basing this off last seasons final table will put us 9th. Basing this off last seasons final table will put us 4th. Thought of the day - If we win the remaining 26 games, we win the league. Also worth noting in comparison to last season; current leaders Norwich would be sitting in 3rd place behind Wolves (47pts) and Cardiff (43pts) And in a ghost race against ourselves, we are now only 5 points behind. Win that game and we have 25 other games to make up 6 points. No reason we shouldn't be going for automatic promotion. I think it's cool when a team comes all the way through the leagues. Leeds West Brom and stoke are the 3 to watch. Stoke are an odd one but they have a shout for having the best squad and they are still within striking distance. They are flying. They're destroying teams, and they gave us a lesson too. My reasoning is their squad has been weakend since last year and they dropped off then. They seem to go behind a lot (like Rotherham sat) and you can't keep pulling them out of the bag. I look at Leeds and Norwich being very consistent and i don't see them suddenly starting losing games left and center. Top 6 for me as of now is the realistic aim, i'd love to be proven wrong though.
