What's your tipple this evening then?

I've been treated to a dram of a 34 year old blended Gleann Mor Rare Find bottling. Bottled at 55%, lovely fruitiness and citrusness. I typically like my whiskies on the peaty side, but it has none of that, it's just a very fruity, full-bodied whiskey that I want to say is Highland-esque. It's bloody special, and at £280 a bottle, one to nurse for the evening.

You've changed.

I remember when you were happy with a plastic beaker of Bells, or Teachers.

I had a pound off coupon for this in Lidl, which made it about £6:50 or thereabouts in Lidl

Really fruity merlot/cabernet/petit verdot mix with a subtle oak finish, very easy to drink and even without the quid knocked off I'd buy it and think I'd got good value
