You get a like for the dunkel

I'm all about dunkels, but that's a weiss dunkel and it'll be gifted.

There might be a bog standard Hofbrau dunkel in the fridge though?

Had this last night. The missus got it for me last Xmas. Too smokey (no pun intended) to drink neat so i drowned it in coke zero, giving it a surprisingly nice chocolate aftertaste.

At the in laws for German Christmas and they've got this in for me

Normal warsteiner is gassy piss that will give you belly ache while flying but this stuff is lovely, it'll be classed as a landbier so far more going on much more flavour (graven steiner (which is veltin) and bitburger both have great landbiers)

Father in law paid £4 for 5x 500ml bottles and a pint glass... I'm hoping they bought one for me for Xmas too!

No way, that's one of my favourite German beers (only in winter though)

Weiss beer was involved with a never again hangover in the dim and distant past.

My favourite lager.

It's mainly because I associate it with 330ml cans on planes and the resulting flatulence but I'm not a fan*, it's surprisingly not that popular here

But the winter beer (in a red cardboard packet with snow on it) was awesome, brewers gold is really good, they do an extra too but can't remember seeing that before

* lufthansa have a new one called something like the crew, do an IPA which is spot on

Also surprised estrella galicia never came for the UK

Oh it has, just home from the local with this on draft, along with Victoria Malaga, perfectly drinkable it seems.

I'm losing track now, tbh.

Whisky, port, sherry, at least three different wines.

Hang on, I don't think I've had any beer yet.

The night is yet young.

This won't end well.
