There's some fairly grim videos of Ukrainians storming Russian entrenched tank squads dug into holes doing the rounds. All of them seem to be farily easily taken out by snipers and grenades. I'm getting more and more of a Japan in 1944 vibe from Russia. Dig yourself in and wait to get killed by overwhelming force.

I saw one yesterday with a soldier trying to get back to a trench whilst grenades and incoming fire. He got in, his mate who was defending got shot and both got blown up by grenades shortly after. All recorded on a drone right above. It was horrific although not close enough to be too graphical. Loads of these videos now doing the rounds on social media without disclosing how graphical the content is.

Digging in trenches and waiting to be attacked just doesn't do it for me. In this day and age especially with the amount of drones in the sky it's a matter of time before your found.

Where is the Russian uprising? If videos of the carnage being caused by the Ukrainian Army are littering the web how can the Russian people be turning a blind eye? Surely they are able to access the same stuff that we can - heck even a modern day luddite knows what a VPN allows you to do.

Come on you Russian people, get off your phones and go out and kick Putin out!

Meanwhile, there are increasing reports of the T-90S Bhishma Tank being used in Ukraine

Why is this important?

Because its a specific model, an export model and designed specifically for India.

The suspicion is that these tanks are the ones that India has sent back to Russia for modernisation, not only that but these T-90S' are upgraded by India with Western kit such as an active protection system designed by SAAB

If this is proved to be true then it could cause a bit of an incident. Russia using India's tanks fitted with Western kit

Nope, Russian Internet companies are screening out an awful lot of content. You might be right about citizens of Moscow and St Petersburg etc knowing what a VPN is but the population of some small town outside Isrktusk probably doesn't and as RUssia draws a lot of its armed forces from these far away rural places is Asian Russia, the people in Moscow and St Petersburg, really don't give a shit

Will it protect them from a drone grenade dropped into the actual tank compartment,  not sure.  😆

Using 2nd hand vehicles from India 👍

Green Lada's with drainpipes on the roof next week,   with an added spoiler for roadholding.

Stealing India's vehicles morelike, these aren't even tanks that were built for India and not sent, they were sold to India, sent to India and were in Russia for refurb

Totally unconfirmed but, earlier there was a story (from Russian sources) that an unmanned drone was shot down over Shaykovka military airfield in the Kaluga region. This is 200km inside Russia. Now the story has developed. This time from a Ukrainian source. If true its a massive story

Quote

As a result of a drone explosion at an airfield in Russia, two Tu-22M3 aircraft were destroyed, sources said

An explosion occurred on the territory of the Shaykovka military airfield in the Kaluga region as a result of a kamikaze drone attack. The apparatus, as Governor Vladyslav Shapsha said, "arrived from the border".

According to Russian TG channels, the explosion occurred when the UAV was over the runway. According to LB.ua sources, the drone took off from the territory of Ukraine and flew unhindered 200 km from the border. Russian air defense proved to be completely powerless. According to our information, two Tu-22M3 bombers were destroyed. The Russian authorities are trying to suppress information about the losses as a result of the attack.

Either way, its clear there was a drone attack and it took place 200km inside Russia, whether the bombers were destroyed or not isn't the biggest part of the story. If they were, good but 200 km inside Russia, that's a hell of a distance and a hell of distance to go undetected

EDIT: this airfield is 200km away from Ukraine. it is also only 260km away from Moscow in the opposite direction

It's a dictatorship, the general public have absolutely no say and are completely powerless.

I love these, because there’s no way for Russia to spin it favourably.

If they pin it on Ukraine then how come it travelled so far without them detecting it?

If it’s from within Russia how come they don’t have their own house in order.

Brilliant.
