markavfc40
He was man of the match for me. Calm and composed and totally focused/always switched on and organising those around him. Unlucky not to bag the winner as well.

Dr_Pangloss
It's been a while since we've had a genuine leader at the back. If Elphick and Chester stay fit then we have the best pairing in the league.
Zatman
Im still not used to this defenders that can defend thing
Brumstopdogs
Thought we missed Lescott's mobility and Richards' concentration at the back yesterday. Seriously though really impressed with Elphick - certainly a leader of men. MOTM without a doubt. Edited August 21, 2016 by Brumstopdogs
Popular Post StewieGriffin
Quote He’s a leader. He helps everyone. He cares about everyone in the dressing room. He genuinely is a kind guy. He has everything you need to be captain. Every team needs a Tommy Elphick. I obviously knew about his personality from being around him at the training ground but when I saw him get clattered on the opening day and carry on, I thought ‘this guy is a real warrior out there’. He’s so brave. From Andre Green's interview on the OS
It's Your Round
Leading by example! But the good, role model type of example. Not the lazy, unprofessional examples that 'lead' us last year. Keep it up Tommy lad, we need a new hero.

Phumfeinz
I think he's been decent enough. He's not making clangers at least and that's an improvement.

Dread to say this but we looked more solid with Bacuna at right back and when Baker was next to Elphick
Tom13
Not a fan of him hoofing it aimlessly under no pressure.
Eastie
Happy enough with his performance but my concern is he is only one booking from a suspension already and we are only 6 games into the season - same goes for ayew . We have given a lot of silly bookings away this season and today was the same - need to improve our discipline . Bunnski
Not too impressed with him, he's a leader and has a great attitude but he's an average defender going by what I've seen of him to date.

KSV
yeah havent been impressed with any of our new signings in defence or in goal. They too.. if not more so than the attacking players need time to gel.
Demitri_C
I think elphick was to- blame for second game unfortunately, he was a bit rash with his decision making leaving the forest player open to score.

Yup. Got dragged across and left a huge hole behind him. Shocking decision making there.
