Not that he can do anything about it, but it can't be good for promotional purposes that possibly the biggest game of the season "The second city derby" isn't even on the telly.

Especially given if we win this we put Birmingham City even closer to getting relegated. They lose this while Blackburn manage to win one of their last two games (one is against us) and Birmingham are in the relegation zone. Not to mention Birmingham City have Huddersfield and Bristol left which won't be easy games for them. They need a result here or they are left hoping Blackburn stay even more shit than they have been. This is TV worthy, but alas no luck.

Sky have backed the Celtic vs Rangers horse on this one, otherwise it would have been on.

Probably not, but then you could say the same about watching two shite championships teams (one shitter than the other) duking it out in a low quality football match. Yes it's a ferocious derby but certainly doesn't have the same prestige than when it was in the premier league and the quality was better.

They do have 7 sports channels .

True but they don't want to piss advertisers off who are paying for the much 'coveted' Celtic vs Rangers spots. Either that or they are just trying to save cash themselves.

They ofteshow different games on different channels - think it's a mistake to overlook this game personally but check coverage on match thread area .

Don't get me wrong, not trying to defend sky, they are everything that's wrong with football. In many ways we need a more dynamic model for watching football where we can choose the matches we want to watch rather than being force fed the sky schedule and having to rely on highlights outside of that. This would of course disrupt the strong hold current entities have on the game, may even result in less money in football, but not having teams being able to sign joe average bloggs for £20m a pop is a price worth paying for it.

Seems crazy that people in USA and china an watch this game live on fox and bein sports and get those in England can't see it - pay per view should be an option in this day and age for those unable to get to the game for whatever reason
