Me too. I don't know why some fans are so hard on Leicester, perhaps it's down to jealousy, but make no mistake they've played some great attacking football over the last 12 or so months and are a credit to their club. We on the other hand have been a disgrace.

QPR style.

In the last press conference, Remi talked about not wanting to bring in too many  in January as it would just disrupt things and we don’t have the time to bed lots of players in.  We just need a few shrewd signings (goal scorer the obvious priority) who can complement what we have.

He's right. Newcastle have done that, Bournemouth too. Norwich are looking. I'd suggest Inler, Debuchy and a striker could be just the ticket for us considering our relative plight, I don't think throwing money at it would be a healthy solution.

We should be taking a very short termitist approach. Players like those above who will be wanting to impress ahead of the euros are as closely matched to our plight as possible.

They have beaten some of the best teams in the league aswell, they are far from an average team, everyone thought they would fade away, but coming to the end of January and they are still up there, I really admire them for the way they fought out of relegation last year and to where they are today, fair play Leicester and it's been deserved with the football played this year.

Take out Vardy, Marhrez and maybe Scmichael the rest are average players.  Sure Albrighton couldnt get on half the time he was at Villa.

If Leicester are a poor side what are we?? [emoji32]

There's not a player at our club who would get near the Leicester 'long ball' team.

They are a very average team, playing at the top of their ability, through good organization and a speedy forward who runs on to over the top balls which averts any danger.

Ha! [emoji2]

You still haven't answered what you think our team is?

Albrighton has be awesome for Leicester, letting him go on a free was typical mismanagement from the club. Robert Huth is a rock in defence and a leader, they have 11 players who will fight and give everything every single game, it's not always about having the best players, it's having a team who believe and work hard for each other aswell.

How he can criticise Leicester for being average when they are joint top, and we are rock bottom

Of the table [emoji23] Leicester fans would laugh at you if you called them average with the likelihood of us being on the championship next season

They are average alright, average like a fox.

I really love what Ranieri has done with them, and is why I always wan'ted us to have a hardcore tactician for manager.

I have 2 "philosophies" I believe in in football.

# If you wan't to win titles or finish at the top of or above your potential you need a tactician for manager. A motivator can win games, but to be solid you need a tactician.

# Secondly, you need a strong functioning midfield to work as a team in the long run. A great striker or a solid defense can win you games, but to win titles or finish at the top or above your potential you need a strong midfield.

Obviously it's easy enough to find examples to contradict this, but as a rule I think it is true. Then of course money has become the major decider in football now.

Aston Villa has much to my dismay chosen to go with the tactically limited, motivator type manager along with a weak midfield over the last couple of years. It has not worked well... Hopefully Garde is a step in the right direction.

Oh, and on transfers, we need some asap.

Can't stand Leicester and hope they implode.  Leicester have been very lucky. They are bottom 3 for possession, passes, pass completion and a whole lot more.  Marez and Vardy are good players, but the rest are bang-average but playing with a bit of confidence. As they regress to the mean, they'll finish about 7th and will be bottom half next time

Schmichael is very average. Albrighton is average and has not been "Awesome"

We didn't let "Albrighton go on a free". He turned down contract offers and went for £45k a week to Leicester - twice what we offered. If we'd have paid Albrighton that we would have had trouble throughout the squad

This seasons Southampton

They're not really "lucky" they just play a counter attacking, catenaccio style which plays to their strengths, and have 2 strikers in ridiculous form... ie. defend and then play up to Vardy & Mahrez

And they run.  Like hell.  All of them.

I doubt Leicester fans care that you can't stand their club, truth is they will laugh at us, we are an embarrassment of a club compares to Leicester. Who cares about stats, stats don't win you games. They don't need possession because they counter attack and hurt teams on the break, they don't play possession football. Albrighton has been been brilliant for Leicester hence why he starts for them. We did let him go on a free because we was silly to let his contact run down to the point he could leave on a free, that's mismanagement. They might finish 7th or who knows they might carry on proving everyone wrong and finish higher

No idea why you can't stand Leicester (weird), but they've hardly been lucky.

They've implemented a style of play that the team is absolutely perfectly suited to.  They're disciplined, hard working and will keep going until the very end of matches.  "Bang-average but playing with a bit of confidence" does a complete disservice to the fact they are currently joint top after 22 games of a season.

I actually can't think of a more balanced team in the Premier League, thinking about it.  Fair play to them.

Southampton achieved nowhere near what Leicester are doing this season.

You can't make a player sign a contact if they don't want to. We could have given him a new contract at 45k a week but that would have been bad management.

He has been neither "brilliant" nor "awesome".  He is a hard working but limited footballer

Thier success is based on luck combined with two decent players hitting form at the same time..it won't last

We are awful at the moment but I'll never be embarrassed to be a Villa fan. Leicester are having their 15 mins. It won't last

You can't lose 2 games all season and call that luck [emoji23] [emoji23][emoji85]
