Guzan rushed the pass when he didn't have to, and Lescott's touch was godawful for a supposed professional. Wasn't actually a terrible pass, It was the wrong pass I think.Yeah you don't pass on the half-volley to a defender that close to goal. You wouldn't do the reverse back to the keeper and the same goes the other way. Lescott could have done better, but Guzan should have never put him in that situation. Guzans kicking is and has been a liability for years.It was a stupid pass but the receiving player takes some blame for that because if he controls it properly he has a far better chance of preventing Willian nicking the ball.
