He's only doing this as he wouldn't qualify for disability benefit under the Tory plans, he's still fit for work.

6 weeks time, no manifesto as such at this point, 1 person sent to Rwanda (anyone checked if he’s still there and how he’s doing?), in advance of party conference.

I’m sceptical, but it would be nice.

The heartless bastards gave him a standing ovation when he came in. May as well have started juggling.

It's because they can't be bothered to say that there is no news and the election will be in October which has been the date for well over a year. No chance of  a snap election.

Inflation didn't fall by what they wanted. BoE less likely to cut Interest as a result, the odds of that have reduced from 50% to 15% as a result. That kick isn't going to happen for them so they might as well go now as there is nothing they have left in the tank to give themselves a boost.

Thats why it may well happen

Oh and if you want another signal, they announced that Wylfa is going to get a new Nuclear Power Station. It's quite the thing to do that just before you announce an election. This really wouldn't be the first time

Apparently Cameron was already in the air when plans were changed. Left from city airport, basically had to do a loop around Villa Park and back down to city airport.

I'd assumed they'd just commit to the tax cuts in the autumn and then chuck it into Labour's lap.
