"Yeah well you signed it so tough shit" I like 'we are totally committed to our obligations for the next 100 years' Yeah cos you're doing absolutely dick all and have a world class stadium for peppercorn rent. Will be funny in the championship though

Every person should have been able to see that hosting the Olympics was a terrible deal for the UK tax payers. It's a black hole for money and you get no real return. VillaChris
What sort of attendance would they get for championship football, 20-30k?
Grasshopper
Would be great if we went up and they came down for a number of reasons 1- former World cup winners reach rock bottom 2- the West Ham way 3- the stadium rip-off 4- Sullivan Gold & Brady 5- Moyes as manager 6- a disgrace to the claret & blue colours 7- The possibility of them Sacking Moyes only to appoint ‚arry who „takes ‚em daaaaaaaaaaan“

Genie
Why didn’t the Olympic committee just build a football stadium, but convert it to an athletics stadium for 4 weeks then it’s a football stadium for 100 years+ rather than the other way round? They could have probably sold it for a profit then to one of the London PL clubs.

They have a waiting list for season tickets of 50K if you believe the bollocks that Karen Brady speaks!! They will probably survive as there will be 3 worse teams than them. If there is karma though then Sheff Utd will replace them in the Prem. The fact they cheated to stay up a few years back and Sheff Utd got shafted and were paid a few quid to accept the fact is still a massive pisstake.

Nothing to do with karma everything to do with Sir Trevor Brooking - a shame because I liked him as a player - as a bent administrator a complete and utter word removed clearing

Aren't many of those just people they target who visit London and want to see a game and can't get a ticket for Chelsea or Arsenal? Add in the Olympic stadium which is a tourist attraction. I liken it a bit to Fulham. Used to get 25k crowds in the premier league because they targeted the tourist market and crowds dropped to 15k now. Have to factor in the traditional West Ham fans hate the Olympic stadium as a venue to watch games so can see some boycotts if they go down. andym
West Ham would do well to stick with Adrian. Bit of a shooting gallery second half today, and no chance it would have been kept to 2 with Hart in goal.

Dr_Pangloss
Adrian is much better than Joe Hart. They'd be better off if they played him.
