Tranquillo Barnetta

I have an odd fascination with the careers of overseas players villa were linked with over the years, especially attacking players.

I thought Rashica was going to be another but if they sign for another English club the whole thing loses its intrigue for me.

Tranquillo is such a nice name.

That Behrami guy who is also Swiss and was at West Ham years back is still playing in Serie A, think he's at Genoa.

He is somehow only 36

Watching a Premier League Classic on Sky - Middlesbrough beating Man City 8-1 in 2008. The squads are a really eye opener on how football has changed.

Middlesbrough: Schwarzer, Young (McMahon 75), Riggott, Wheater, Pogatetz, Boateng, Rochemback, Arca (Johnson 62), Downing, Sanli (Aliadiere 62), Alves

Goals: Downing 16 pen, Alves 37, Downing 58, Alves 60, Johnson 70, Rochemback 80, Aliadiere 85, Alves 90

Man City: Isaksson, Jihai, Corluka, Dunne, Ball, Ireland, Gelson, Petrov (Elano 71), Garrido, Vassell (Hamann 62), Mwaruwari (Castillo 13)

Sent Off: Dunne (15)

Isaksson and Rochemback are two very good entries for this thread.
