The Fun Factory
Also, only one goal from a corner this season. With a decent delivery in surely Benteke/Vlaar etc should threaten more. Well there's the problem right there. With Westwood's shitty floated corners, we arent going to threaten. For me one of the key reasons for Lambert to get the sack. This has been an issue for two season yet he has not done a single thing to address it. It's absolutely baffling . As Brian Clough used to say, the longer a cross is in the air, the easier it is to defend. Clough also said that If God has wanted us to play football in the sky, he'd have put grass up there. He also drank a lot. 1-1 draw today and a lot of moaning.

Chap of Steel
Form would dictate that we will draw this - or worse. On this basis and knowing Villa's unpredictability we will have a surprisingly comfortable win.

bose
Square ball , square ball , square ball , square ball , el Ahmadi slips, Delph panics , back to Guzan, Hooooooooooof , ricochet off Benteke , Norwich turnover possession Repeat ad-nauseam Took this from the Lambert thread. This sums up our home performances. If we don't have any movement this is what always happens. If Norwich have any sense they will sit back and allow us to have the ball. I hope to god there has been some miracle and things have finally clicked.

StefanAVFC
Also BJ, you in particular have spent a good amount of time unconditionally defending Benteke for his poor performances, blaming the team for not playing to his strengths. Yet when Lambert uses these floaty corners to directly play to Benteke's strengths (HH said that Benteke likes to attack them), he's wrong? Which is it? Benteke isn't the manager so shouldn't be calling the shots, if Lambert folds then it's on him. Everything tactical is down to Lambert at the end of the day. So in other words if Benteke asks for something that doesn't really work out well for us, then the answer simply should be 'no'.

Dodgyknees
The formation and players that never work at home, is the formation and players we choose. Albrighton who gives us width, is not in the team. We will suffocate in a lack of space and go on to lose the game. Joy.
