Blimey. Are Trump's inauguration team calculating those figures!

Fair play to Saudis (not a phrase I'm going to be saying much). Had a go second half and they've exposed Argentina big time.

Going to be about 15 minutes injury time if same principle is applied as previous matches.

Something I find niggling about the news feeds.

The majority of criticism seems to be headed towards Qatar rather than Thiefa. I feel it is about 70 - 30.

I believe it should be the other way around, only about 80 - 20 against Thiefa.

VAR doing their best to keep Saudis and Qatar competitive

In that game VAR did the best not to humiliate Argentina even more.

Good on Saudis. Not Government, Not politicians, Not ideologies, but good on normal people who love football.

I'm happy for those folks.

In fairness, if true... I'd say more likely to be mistakes. Unless you think they are thick enough to not realize the stadium capacities are public knowledge... and they are already under intense scrutiny? lol

I didn’t say what the reason was.

Something involving a toilet brush, three budgerigars, and an oddly shaped avocado.

Ivan the maintenance man has turned up to unclog the kitchen sink. As he sets to work, things start to get a little steamy.

Ivan began to use his plunger to clear the u-bend... and afterwards, he started work on unclogging the sink.

They are counting journalists and staff in the numbers apparently

The only place alcohol isn't available is within the perimeter of the stadium... so i don't get why people keep insinuating the place is dry.

Just another stick to beat them with even if it's wrong, everyone just jumps on it.

I'd get pretty boozy all the time on my many visits to Doha's restaurants, bars etc.

Maybe they said “whatever the real number is, stick 10,000 on it” and they’ve had more turn up than expected?
