Was thinking I've not posted in that thread for ages. It's based on a true story so I'll pretend it's a documentary drama. If a Mod wants to move it though please do.

If Emery has won 5 trophies over 9 years here I'd be ecstatic. Klopp has got Liverpool their: - first title in 30 year's. - first FA Cup since 2005. - two league cups. - first Champions League since 2005 Plus a super cup, club world cup and charity shield. In the 10 years before he joined in 2015, they had 1 League Cup. Even without the 90+ points seasons and City being unique, he has clearly been a success for them.

I'd be okay with 20 zones in urban areas, if we could then get 80 on motorways/dual carriageways as a trade off. Having more bypasses around towns would also help.

Whoever comes in after Klopp will be under stupid levels of pressure and expectations and is bound to fail. Exactly like it was for Moyes at Utd and Emery at Arsenal, when objectively, looking back, they didn't do as bad as some people said they did. Slot might be an easy bandaid manager, who can take the flack, be relatively stable and then be easily replaced in the next year or so.

It doesn't bother me, but I do wonder if it affects our commercial deals at all? If there were more articles about us and we could evidence that and show greater interest/clicks, could we get more money from sponsors?

Glad to hear you're getting back to it and making progress. Not seen the Bruce Lee stuff, assuming it's very calisthenics based, maybe high volume and low rest times?

Watched the first episode of Baby Reindeer last night and seems good so far. Much better than 3 Body Problem which we gave up watching halfway through.

Not sure where to put this one but thought people might appreciate it. The inside of an Elephants foot: Looks strangely human with the bone structure.

5 subs was never about rotation, it was about giving them the options to completely change things up on the rare occasions a smaller team was winning. -
How many of the 'bigger clubs' are actually effected by and have to play FA Cup replays each season? How many of the 'bigger clubs' choose to add in unnecessary games or tours each season to try and raise even more money (which they don't want to share with lower-league teams)? They want it both ways.

What's the difference between a kangaroo and a kangaroot? One is a large Australian animal and one is a Geordie stuck in a lift.

I had the blood test done last month and came back fine. Was able to get it done for about £40 as I went for the collect the blood yourself at home option (finger prick then drops into a test tube and post it off). From what I was advised, I don't think it's quite as reliable as the standard test but it's definitely less of a pain in the bum.

Pep has been there long enough and is integral enough to them that there is a chance it'll be like when Fergie or Wenger left and they might struggle for a bit. With their resources I suspect they'd be back sooner than later though. -
He doesn't think anything, he's an idiot.

My Argyle supporting family would disagree.

Plymouth Argyle travel to Stoke on Saturday for a relegation 6 pointer. Added spice to the match as Argyle's boss left them for Stoke just before Christmas.

There is an important exception to this. Spending more on the expensive brand can be worth it if that brand will last longer or be more effective than the cheaper one would. If a £50 pair of shoes will last one year before falling apart, but a £100 pair of shoes will last 3 years then in the long run it's better to get a more expensive brand. Difficult one to quantify when purchasing but important to consider.

Football Manager wondered (FM22 I think?). Was brilliant on it for me.

With Merse being the 'Villa pundit' there too as he's got 100+ caps for us.

They already have a comparable turnover to several Championship clubs. That will only rise in the next few years with larger sponsorships and documentaries etc.

For the last 2 year's I've been helping to coach my son's rugby team. However, as he's an August birthday and small for his age he dropped down a level this year. So did another 3 kid's and speaking to their parents they all hated playing that age group for one reason or another but loved the younger one. There has been an announcement tonight that from next season, the kid's need to play their age groups. I'm fairly sure that all of them are now going to quit playing. Which is a massive shame as the club and sport are rapidly losing players. All because of stupid bureaucracy. I wish we followed nations like NZ and let kid's play in weight/size groups and not age (if my son was 1 week younger he'd be fine to stay where he was).
