  1. Have taken my 6 year old son down to Devon for a few days and were staying in a hotel. Popped to the Brewers Fayre next door for their unlimited breakfast (quality ain't great but never mind). The staff are now giving us looks as we've been here an hour and he's taking a break to do some colouring before getting more food. So far he's had a slice of toast, a bowl of special K, a bowl of coco pops, a crumpet, a croissant, a pan au chocolate, a pancake and a bowl of fruit/yoghurt. He says he's building up to the cooked breakfast. No idea where he puts it all. Thoroughly abusing the kids eat free policy.
  2. I honestly find the Championship a much more interesting league than the Premier League. So much more going on.
  3. Argyle picking up another point thanks to an Uncle Albert own goal. 4 from 6 since sacking Foster. Putting more pressure on Birmingham.
  4. Fair assessment. My wife bought me the book for Christmas, not sure I'm up for reading it though as doubt it will have the same levels of charm. One of my favourite ever bits of TV is where in response to someone (possibly Tripitaka) being incredibly sad, Monkey convinces Pigsy to cheer them up by doing his little dance. Pigsy starts dancing like an idiot, everyone stares at him like an idiot and Monkey falls over laughing. Wish I could find that clip.
  5. To be fair to him, he joined in 2016, so that's only £75m on defenders each season.
  6. The fact that they've spent nearly £2b on transfers since he came in (when they already had a top tier and expensive squad), has probably helped him establish them as the top team in the UK.
  7. Somebody at work last week told me that we were going to build a new 50k to 60k seater stadium and share it with BCFC. Strange sensation when I vomited in my mouth whilst falling off my chair with laughter.
  8. Saw Kung Fu Panda 4 in the cinema yesterday. Wish I hadn't bothered but my son liked it.
  9. I've similarly dealt with and audited SARS in the past. If they genuinely suspected something and then told him that would be tipping off and a crime in it's own right.
  10. Guess you must have planted the seed in my brain with your post.

They also struggle to hold on to their best player's as they can't compete on wages. They can either sell these player's for half decent fees and reinvest that money, or the player's wind their contracts down and leave on a free. Their highest paid player is apparently Henderson (barf) on €90k a week. That's a pittance to top Premier League teams nowadays.
  12. That spoiler was heavily predicted all over the Internet which probably put pay to it. He also has no real history with Reigns so this did kinda fit better in a weird way.
  13. Congrats on the weight loss. I sometimes get joint pain from lifting weights and that makes long runs difficult. However I find going on a crosstrainer/elliptical to be absolutely fine for doing cardio as there's none of the impact.
  14. You come up with one little autocorrect pun and get more likes than my original post. Frankly I'm tired of your shirt.
  15. I don't mind a bit of rain as long as you know it's coming. I've lost count of the number of days BBC predicted lightning so we've stayed in and then it's been fine. Same story today, predicted lightning for 4 hours and not hit once. Been windy but nothing unmanageable around here.
  16. What weather forecasting sites do people use? I've generally relied on the BBC but lately they seem to never get it right and be overly pessimistic. Are any of them at least vaguely close to getting it right?
  17. The worst is Robinson Crusoe. About 150 pages spent describing how he builds a fence. I've never read the GoT books and don't think I ever will. Seems pointless seeing as though the final two books will probably never come out. I read the first Hedge Knight short story and enjoyed it, so might finish that series some day (assuming it's been finished).
  18. Don't worry. Not offended, was just confused as had no idea what you were on about. Guess I'm not as familiar with that kinda stuff as you
  19. Wine. By no means an expert but I got a job in a wine store after university and they paid for me to do some courses learning about the different varieties.
  20. Seems like everyone in power in football nowadays is just a variation of this to some degree.
  21. I would devour a family bag of crisps, but biscuits have never really interested me.
  22. Too lazy (tipsy) to scroll that far.
  23. I'm in my 40s and can count on one hand the number of Rodney's that I've met and fairly certain I've never met a Roderick. Am I a weird outlier and they're common names?
