  1. Played really well today, not gung ho , measured and effective without been reckless. Some great performances, Mings , Moreno, McGinn (my motm) , Buendia, Watkins, no one looked bad, even Bailey played well and didn't give the ball away until just before he was took off. VAR is a mystery that doesn't stop giving suspect they are watching the game on a dodgy stream that has horrendous lag. The first hand ball was a mystery, it clearly hit his out stretched hand, he was in the box and the shot was on target until it hit his hand. The only thing I can think is it may have deflected off their players foot before it his his hand, bizarre decision tbh. We need an explanation. We had multiple chances to kill the game but didnt panic when it never happened, their keeper played well and the ref didn't do to badly, booked players early for reckless challenges. The turn around since Emery took over is the biggest one I have seen from a new manager. Incredible, the way we are starting to control games, I haven't seen it outside of a top 4 team. Today we played possession from the back with a confidence that i would have never thought possible 6 months ago, with the same players, bar Moreno who was close to been our motm. I knew Emery was good but thought it would take time and a few new players, given those I think we will challenge top 8 next season. We are entering a golden era, enjoy UTV.
  2. Just sell with buy back clauses or sell on clauses ( buy backs better as it can't be circumnavigated with swaps ) I would guess at least one of these players will break through, JPB is my bet on eventually being good enough

  4. Nothing good will come from that, the very fact he's visiting says enough.

How about the 68 year old cleaner who has to worked until 68 and then gets 10k a year state pension, where's the sympathy for those at the bottom of the wage structure, those who can't afford a private pension of any decent benefit to them? I agree that doctors and health care professionals needed a change to keep them in work but this will be used by the rich to benefit the rich, it should have directed at the doctors pensions. A £1m annuity pays more than 35k, ever since truss destroyed the government's financial reputation and the interest they have to pay to lend money more than doubled. On amother note you could draw down the £1m For 17 years at 60,000 a year , if they retire at 68 it's should last until the average age of death in the UK, mind you that way they don't get to leave their offspring the £1m pension pot.
  6. Spurs don't spend big money on players, they try and build value into every player they purchase, hes not going there, no way.....unless he has a sell clause for £30m
  7. More cuts to the West Midlands funding , soon be under 2% for us, a slow decline over the last few years, situation is completely unjustified. Great goal but how bad was the keeper. Can never really make my mind up with Davies, he has everything but just lacks something in front of goal. Wouldn't surprise me if he went onto to score 25 or 2 in a season.
  9. Pension reforms to boost pensions is the BBC headline, the reality is your total Pension pot allowance will be increased from £1m to £1.7m (a good move for retaining doctors and it should be targeted at them) and the total you can pay in per year is 100% of your wages or £40k, this is raising to £60k. On the back of this the State Pension age is increasing to 68 for anyone born in 1968 or later. All this clearly benefits the wealthy rather than the poor who rely on State Pension to fund retirement, they are taking the piss.
  10. I would pay to watch Joyce fight any of them, class act , deserves a shot. Can't believe Dubois has a chance of Usyk before him tbh.
  11. Pope doesnt get the Ball at all, it's unlucky for him but it's a stone walled penalty. Ref and officials have bottled it.
  12. We are away from home, it's upto the home team to push the game especially when they need a win so badly. Its 'clever play' from us and long may it continue. Once we have a base built on this 'clever play' we can become more expansive.
  13. He knows Usyk can beat him if hes not on his game, ATM Usyk is my favourite to win this fight, if it happens. I would guess Fury isn't training at anywhere near the levels he needs to.
  14. This war weakens Russia considerably and the longer it goes on the more its damaged. Putin can still cause devastating damage to the EU..... a stray missile hitting a nuclear power station, I think he's hinting at this with his recent strikes close to a nuclear station using hypersonic missiles. Ukraines supporters could bring this to an end quicker with increased support and training, they are choosing to prolong it in order to weaken Russia's influence on former Eastern block countries and their olitical struggles, this is a benefit to USA ,NATO and the EU. Putins huge ego has led him and Russia into a right mess.
  15. This war weakens Russia considerably , its ability to physically intervene in any other countries political struggles is a massive benefit to NATO and the EU. The longer it goes on the more they itd damaged , its a balancing act though as they might damage the Ukraine to such an extent it won't be able to build a stable political system , supported by its own military to ward off any future aggressions from Russia once this war grinds to a halt. Ukraines supporters could bring this to end quicker with increased support and training, they are choosing to prolong it in order to weaken Russia's influence on former Eastern block countries. Its risky, Putin can still cause devastating damage to the EU..... a stray missile hitting a nuclear power station, I think he's Threatening this with his recent strikes close to a nuclear station with his hypersonic missiles.
  16. Started slow but improved, he's a young player and it will take time for him to find his performance levels consistently. My guess is him and his brother will be in the team 2024/25
  17. Surely all these different Russian factions leaves them vulnerable to the Ukrainians mimicking the uniforms to cause confusion. Have the Wagner got any vehicles, are they marked with the Z?
  18. Great game, he looks like a £60m player again, unplayable at time.
  19. Joke penalty but we showed enough to win it , Watkins and Duran had two great chances. Considering West Ham are down the bottom they showed no real fight , their in trouble if other teams can get a run together. Our high line was exposed a fair bit but they wasn't good enough to beat it or we was to cute for them. Wish our players would play the ball rather then waving for offsides.
  20. We have played some really good football even without Kamara, Moreno, Watkins and McGinn have been our best players but Ramsey, after a few wobbly moments, has started to find his feet as well. You can see the improvement in us as we start to grow into Emery style of football, the futures looking bright.
  21. He can but that's just a lucky shot. Usyk will, imo, target Furys body and wear him down. Fury has only just started training for this fight and it's a little more than 6 weeks away, I see big problems for him and i think Usyk knows it, hence the small purse.
  22. The head of the BBC was appointed by Boris Johnson after he got him a £800,000 loan, how hypocritical can you get to then say it has to be politically independent? Boris and the tories must think we are all dumb or ignorant, this whole thing is a further attack on our freedom of speech by the head of the BBC under the Tories instructions. Even if he's wrong he should have a right to voice his opinions, like Sugar and all the other gob shites.
