    Energy Bills

All to save 3 quid a day on your heating bill.
  2. Monthly circulation of 812,106, that's 30k a day, hardly popular in a population of 65m. Tbh I don't know anyone who buys papers who's under the age of 60.
  3. I was thinking about there hard copy readers. Plenty of their articles are of click bait variety. The whole Brexit debate brought the worst out in generally normal people, once Boris and his cronies have been found out .and Putin's abit busy with other stuff, common sense will prevail, it always does in the end and 99% of the UK population are decent people.
  4. It is a lovely little town (best out of the others I listed) but some of the residents appear to be from the 14th century, I enjoyed the beer festival there though
  5. SHA v Tesco's bags on a Friday at 8pm, who's sanctioned that? Should be fun in town with that lot sulking after been thrashed.
  6. Forest , Bournemouth and Southampton for me .
  7. Photoshop the Kremlin into that background and watch it go viral.
  8. The average Daily Mail reader will be long gone in 5 years time. All we need is a competent government, unfortunately we haven't had that for probably 10 years. Hopefully the Tories will be out of power for at least 10 years and the UK can start to move on a build a decent relationship with the EU. We have proven to be a major influence in the Ukraine and this shows the UK's importance to Europe from a defensive point of view. The only place that benefits from all this friction is Russia, the only people who benefit from it are a few select politicians and business people. The rest of us suffer, more so in the UK but also in Europe. .
  9. I hope they stay up, certain clubs belong in the premier league and their one of them, Leeds as well. Passionate fans despite years of winning nothing. Dyche will have enough to keep them up.
  10. The best Chinese around me has a food rating of 1, the others are all 4-5 but their food isnt good. It's a real dilemma for me, the Mrs is a clear no on the 1.
  11. On the theme of food and doing my head in, why do restaurants put the beans/chips in separate cups and then place them on your plate next to the other parts of the meal. The cups base has probably been sitting on some dirty surface and then introduced to your eating surface, the plate ! What purpose does it serve?
  12. Their the most unpopular government we have had in probably 50 years and will soon be a distant (bad) memory.

    Jhon Durán

This may explain why we never signed a player to replace Ings, fingers crossed this kid can pull it out of the hat for us .
  14. I'm sure once Labour get in there will be a more sensible discussion about trade deals. Labour aren't going to advertise that fact before any election, they don't need to.
  15. I hope Duran is ready to make an impression, it's a big gamble but it might pay off.
  16. I can't see UE would get rid of Ings without a replacement being lined up, didn't he state that when asked about Duran?I IMO Ings should have been sold once we had a replacement, as it is we appear to be recalling Bert to fill in for Ings after our target player slipped through the net, disappointing way to run things and it doesn't look good for Lange, is he bothered, going in the summer ?
  17. He was our top scorer, we sold him for £15m, peanuts tbh. We have paid £19m for a player our manager has stated isn't ready for first team action. We all see what we want to see but no-one can argue we have not weakened the squad considerably, were would we be without Ings goals?
  18. They are but i won't digest it, process it, engage or encourage others to try and reason with it.

5000 cycles for lifepo4, if they are looked after , maybe more with the correct discharge and charge profiles. @sidcow the EV as storage is another game changer. There's options for storage. For me another big game changer (for the UK) is tidal power, for an island with a tidal range like we have its a golden opportunity for power generation, it just needs our government to realise it and back it's development.

The flexibility issue could be solved by local storage , batteries, I have used some lifepo4 batteries and they are a real game changer, you can charge and discharge at 1C , 200 amps (12v). So an hour to charge them and an inverter can pull upto to 200 amps from them (for an hour). I reckon my whole house could last 24 hours with 400ah off grid. Which could be charged in the middle of the night from the grid or in the day from solar (take a few hours )

Problem with electricity is storage, we can generate it but only if it's windy or sunny. We desperately need battery manufacturers in the UK.

    Energy Bills

Problem with ground source heat pumps is the amount of land required to lay the pipe out horizontally, wonder if there is any benefit in laying the pipe vertically in a deep hole that's bored out, not sure what the logistics of boring a hole out like that but it would save on the amount of land required.
