No one has written anyone off, it just seems like a shot in dark from us based on the evidence we have. What do you see in him that makes you think he is worth the gamble, his age , his pace, his heading ability all look good but the sample size is so small it seems like a long odds gamble. His international career , even at youth level is unremarkable. Fair enough taking a punt but this seems like the longest odds one we have ever taken. Unless i have missed something?

This is where the issue is for me, is he any better than Davies? His highlights over the last 12 months or so, compared to Davies shows no clear winner , is the MLS as strong as the championship? Hopefully the logistics and knowledge to commission these type of weapons is beyond the figures behind these private armies but we wouldn't know that. I noticed this as well, they seem to be getting it. They are also quicker to decide where it's going. The issue is the pass into midfield, Kamara was the only real option which led to long balls which we couldn't hold onto, or turning back across the defence. We need more movement into space in the midfield. Martinez is unbelievable, just having him on the pitch is a boost for us all, a world cup winner. His saves will grab the headlines, two of them, but his presence in the box (on the edge of it) is superb. He looks like a world class player , he looks like the best keeper in the Premier League.

I watched Gnonto against Cardiff and he was average, reminds me of Traore, all show and no end product. When he went off they scored.. Neville was up his arse in the commentary, he got the better of Young once and that was lucky, if it was a Leeds player that went down under his challenge the ref would have blew for a foul. For our first goal the commentators concentrated on Leeds missing a difficult chance and completely ignored Kamaras 50 yard run followed by a faint to fool the Leeds defender and a through ball that took 2 players out of the game. Martinez my MOTM but Kamara was close. Bailey , took advantage of Leeds at the back who looked very poor at times. Bailey lost the ball countless times trying to do much. Doug looks lost at times , especially when we haven't got the ball, we need another Kamara type player in there. Moreno started a bit shaky but improved as the game went on and in the end he looked very clever and quick, some of the one twos he was involved in caused Leeds some real problems. Great result but we didn't play well, just got better players than Leeds. The ref was shite, falling for Leeds antics all the way through, they never retreated from any free kicks at all, then wanted out players booked when we did it once............ Ayling is one of them players , hate him playing against you but his attitude is what we need in a few of our players.

Fan base , to me , is people in there local area that could become new fans. Undoubtedly Newcastle have more fans than Cov but they haven't got much scope to grow been located in an area that's relatively remote.

Huge fan base? The met area has a population of 280,000 and most of em that can must be going there as it is. Coventry has a similar size fan base, Newcastle's chances of increasing their support in the local area is pretty limited.

Yea it is , missed the last orchestra tour but know people who went and said it was very good. Saw them a few times, always great performances, helps that they have a crowd of fans who tend to give it their all as well.

Im no expert but think it depends on how old you house is. Mines 1936 and the cavity is next to none, been advised not to have it filled as it can cause damp to seep through to the inner walls. I think my only viable option is cladding the exterior wall.
