  1. This war weakens Russia considerably and the longer it goes on the more its damaged. Putin can still cause devastating damage to the EU..... a stray missile hitting a nuclear power station, I think he's hinting at this with his recent strikes close to a nuclear station using hypersonic missiles. Ukraines supporters could bring this to an end quicker with increased support and training, they are choosing to prolong it in order to weaken Russia's influence on former Eastern block countries and their olitical struggles, this is a benefit to USA ,NATO and the EU. Putins huge ego has led him and Russia into a right mess.
  2. This war weakens Russia considerably , its ability to physically intervene in any other countries political struggles is a massive benefit to NATO and the EU. The longer it goes on the more they itd damaged , its a balancing act though as they might damage the Ukraine to such an extent it won't be able to build a stable political system , supported by its own military to ward off any future aggressions from Russia once this war grinds to a halt. 3. Started slow but improved, he's a young player and it will take time for him to find his performance levels consistently. My guess is him and his brother will be in the team 2024/25
  4. Surely all these different Russian factions leaves them vulnerable to the Ukrainians mimicking the uniforms to cause confusion. Have the Wagner got any vehicles, are they marked with the Z?
  5. Great game, he looks like a £60m player again, unplayable at time.
  6. Joke penalty but we showed enough to win it , Watkins and Duran had two great chances. Considering West Ham are down the bottom they showed no real fight , their in trouble if other teams can get a run together. Our high line was exposed a fair bit but they wasn't good enough to beat it or we was to cute for them. Wish our players would play the ball rather then waving for offsides.
  7. We have played some really good football even without Kamara, Moreno, Watkins and McGinn have been our best players but Ramsey, after a few wobbly moments, has started to find his feet as well. You can see the improvement in us as we start to grow into Emery style of football, the futures looking bright.
  8. He can but that's just a lucky shot. Usyk will, imo, target Furys body and wear him down. Fury has only just started training for this fight and it's a little more than 6 weeks away, I see big problems for him and i think Usyk knows it, hence the small purse.
  9. The head of the BBC was appointed by Boris Johnson after he got him a £800,000 loan, how hypocritical can you get to then say it has to be politically independent? Boris and the tories must think we are all dumb or ignorant, this whole thing is a further attack on our freedom of speech by the head of the BBC under the Tories instructions. Even if he's wrong he should have a right to voice his opinions, like Sugar and all the other gob shites.
  10. The whole world has access to these technologies yet they haven't paid a penny to the licence fee. They should be helping to produce and support local based media and news, they are nowhere near doing that. The Oxbridge leaders of it all are so out of touch the whole thing is 90% irrelevant to 95% of the population. I don't watch it or listen to it at all.
  11. Usyk will be Fury's hardest fight yet, if Fury ain't at 100% he won't win.
  12. Your news is in HD, isnt it? I was using 4k as an example of what an amateur can film in. Birmingham being scaled up isn't hard from where it is now , and Steve Knight has pushed the BBC into investing more money into the Midlands and has plans to bring private studios into the area. Salford BBC has money dripping from it.
  13. Oh that's alright then, let's wait and see what we are given for the £1bn we pay in. Our local news is still in standard definition, even YouTubers can film in 4k, it's a huge joke on us all ( Midlands based viewers) The fact we have no media presence takes so much away from the Midlands, we are not even in the debate when it comes to the North and South divide. It's a disgrace, a travesty that any decent mayor should be able to sort out sharpish, Street is hopeless.
  14. Yep, we are getting Master Chef for the £1billion the Midlands gives in license fees.
  15. It's not right , their killing our country. They have no agenda for change or improvement, just one to keep the status quo that allows their sons, daughters, uncles and aunts the opportunity of a decent career without earning the right.
  16. It's led by a Tory who's dictating it's agenda, hence Lineker getting reprimanded while government supporters get a free hand to say what they like.
  17. What are these benefits then? All I see is a huge corporation thats full of workers who were born with silver spoons stuck up their arses and is led by someone who's job interview started with him filling in a loan application form for his future boss. You can add Farage been brought out on question time ( visits the Midlands how many times) to push Brexit at every opportunity as well, all for £14 a month . The whole things been turned into an utter farce. We all have a chance to show them all enough is enough, cancel you licence and then your DD. If Gary Lineker has the balls to say enough is enough then what's your excuse?
  18. I can't see the benefit of it , it's not impartial, it's doesn't represent the Midlands in any way, other than taking money of us. I can't access 90% of its productions without paying on Amazon Prime, it's not fit for purpose .
  19. My TV licence DD has just been cancelled, fucX em.
  20. No u ain't, but that's populist politics for u. What I can't believe is the lack of accountability when it come to Boris , £800k and the appointment of the head of the BBC, its unbelievable, are we all idiots?
  21. We have been here before , there was a conscious effort to suppress Birmingham This article from is from 2015, it's a big eye opener to Birminghams past. "Birmingham finally bouncing back after 70 years says Centre for Cities City is now finally overturning a deliberate policy to stifle economic growth lasting seven decades as influential thinktank reveals Birmingham is finally becoming a boom town again" https://www.business-live.co.uk/economic-development/birmingham-finally-bouncing-back-after-8772639 As for countries that have rebalanced wealth , see my post on Germany after the reunification, there is less inbalance economicaly between East and West Germany than there is between the South East and the rest of the UK, they have managed that over 30 years, wish we had their politicians......
  22. His tackle on Kamara was clumsy, his tackle on Chambers was horrendous, he should have had a straight red for it and in light of him only now serving a 1 match ban because of the red I think it was planned.

Throw a few beach balls into the stands, have an area at Villa Park where our fans who travel away are situated close to each other , once one area starts singing its infectious. Speed the bar service up before kick off and at half time.
