  1. 3 minute injuries that disappeared as soon as the game kicked back off again, they have a cunning plan.
  2. I think the all stuff from China ship is well on the way to sailing. I have seen a Chinese company install production facilities that were of a higher standard than their western competition. There is undoubtedly still poor quality stuff but at a price point.
  3. Did they have a referendum or is it an opinion poll that's dictating their attitude towards this war?
  4. We got alot of stick for time wasting but Spurs make us look like we are rushing the game, killed the game against Fulham by injury after injury and disruption after disruption. Terrible to watch.
  5. Forest , Clough and Motherwell, family connection.
  6. I was disappointed when Cutler left , thought it may affect Martinez, I was wrong, what we saw him doing yesterday, playing as a sweeper when required, was new for Martinez I'm guessing this was spoken about with him and hes adding It to his game.
  7. On that day, in that game, a few players heads dropped and that's another way of saying they was mentally weak. As you have pointed mental capacity can be improved, first thing is to have a plan, a way to play, know what's expected and be shown or told how they can improve. Emery's attention to detail goes a long way to helping players cope with the stress, "Yes it's going to be difficult but if we do this then it will help" type of thing.
  8. I don't bother to watch match of the day and the BBC news coverage of us is hopeless. I watched the whole 90 minutes and we was dominant, our left side was our weak area but that was due to Southampton having their most effective player there and doubling up. Moreno did well under the circumstances. Emery will force them to take notice though, he's building a team that is improving every game, unbelievable tbh. The way we controlled large parts of this game is something I haven't seen from villa for decades. UTV
  9. What crap camera angles , dreadful , well done Smith.
  10. Thought he was gonna pull the wingers pants down when he broke free, took a yellow for it.
  11. Growing game after game, who's a better keeper than him? Unbelievable saves , dominant in the box, great as a sweeper. Just needs to add goals to his game and he's the complete keeper .
  12. Just seen it again, it was a stamp on his heal and the Push that disallowed the goal.
  13. Why did he push Ramsey/stamp on his heal? It was soft but a stupid decision from their player.
  14. Martinez, best keeper in the world. Ref was poor all round, soft foul for their chalked off goal (Why he pushed Ramsey is a mystery that only shit players no about) but Ramsey should have had a penalty as well, he was wiped out in their box, ball was nowhere near their defender, unbelievable weak decisions and he did that all through the game, countless heavy tackles went without punishment. We played some lovely stuff at times but just lacking the composure for the killer ball, shot or run. Bailey missed some good chances when he probably should have done better. Ramsey still looks a bit rusty but alot better than against Leeds. We tend to play intricate passes in tight areas that draw the opposition players in but when they come in we need to play out of those tight spaces and into the space the opposition players have left to close us down, we are nearly there. We are drawing them down the pitch with our possession at the back but we need to use the width of the pitch as well to further stretch them. Overall very good performance, Emery's style is showing and this was a hard game, Southampton are fighting for their lives and at home they need to show more but their quality up front is championship at best, Adams.........? Their going down .
  15. He should resign because of how thick he is to have done it, film it and then publish it. No excuses, he's as thick as a plank.
  16. Needs more movement from players around him, I see a player who gives 100% every time he goes out there, he also has a will to win and fire in his belly. He does give the ball away...... but in areas where he's trying to create a chance , high up in the oppositions half. We have other players who give the ball away in our own half, which is unforgivable in Emery's system. I'm pretty sure Beundia will be a major part of our team moving forward.
  17. Well Damon Albarn lost the battle but won the war, decades of cutting edge music while the Oasis lot just churned out the same old melodies year after year.

    Matty Cash

Villa v Sunderland, Lowton gave the best performance I have seen from a villa fullback, probably down to a poor Sunderland team but he was unstoppable. His time at villa was overshadowed by the club been in turmoil, same as few other players that found their form once they had left us. Cash is under the world cup cloud, think a few premier League players are , Man City , Chelsea and Liverpool have all suffered.
  19. It would be very interesting to find out how his @villakram has formed his opinion on this war, his news sources or perhaps a YouTube channel or whatever. For him to believe what he does means Russia's media machine is successfully selling their version of events.
  20. The USA is providing a huge share of help to the Ukrainians, more than the rest of the world combined. Europe is the most baffling of all, France and Germany, the leaders of it, are sitting on the fence, fiddling while Rome burns. Without the USA the Russians would have pushed through the Ukraine as soon as the supplies ran out and Germany would have got it's gas supply back.
