    I don't have an issue with them calling offsides. He either is, or he isn't. My gripe is that it took like 3/4 minutes to draw the offsides lines. that, to me, signals that they are looking for just something to overturn.

    think Gerrard wanted a wing back like him because he is so attacking. Causes us problems though, because Luiz has to cover for the midfield & it looked like McGinn was tracking back for Digne (and that's not his game)

    It was rumored that Barca wanted a mandatory purchase clause inserted & I'm guessing that we wanted to have the flexibility to make sure he performed well so we were after just the "option to buy"

    yeah Ashworth going there is not good news. Brighton generally was pretty good with recruitment as well.

    Well the official PL registration includes him so guess Preece is wrong. Still probably going out on loan though

    I would really question the hierarchy if we loaned him up there when *should they stay up* they’ll be direct rivals with us.

    Disagree. I think he’s massively overrated and spending circa 50m on someone else who imo isn’t any better than Dougie is not a good deal. Also specifically his experience playing with a 5 at the back vs 4 at the back is a bit concerning. if it happens, I’d 100% support him(depending on the possible cases)…. But I think that it would end up being a very bad deal for us (not even mentioning his wages & his interest levels as we’re not a scum 6 side.

    Selling Luiz and replacing him with this fella isn’t a good bit of business. This guy won’t cut it here especially factoring in the financial outlay required to purchase.

    I see that Spurs want to get rid of Lo Celso. Wonder if he might be a name we look at (though he probably ends up in Spain again)

    with both the links to midfielders earlier, I think that the club is expecting him to not sign an extension and is preparing for his departure in the summer
