  1. I'll be very surprised if anyone outside the bottom 4 right now ends up relegated, unless Everton continues to be a toxic environment
  2. Their biggest problem is that they needed to fill their DoF role before anything else, and they haven't. Howe is, I'm pretty sure, the only footballing person employed in the hierarchy currently. (I believe similar to when we went down.) They have no sense of direction and what kind of plan & club they will become. If they do get relegated, what is their plan going to be? Buy the best Championship players like we did our first year? We have seen first-hand what happens if that doesn't work immediately. Do they go the young player route? Again, still waiting on getting a DoF is hurting them more than losing matches imo
  3. wasn't it at Anfield where he had that injury? great to see him back
  4. Looks like the Las Vegas Team is going to be coming through in a couple years
  5. Michael Emenalo has turned down the DoF role there because their plans weren't "ambitious enough" reportedly
  6. Flooding the midfield I guess? McGinn, Nakamba, Luiz, and Ramsey. Ramsey in the more advanced role?
  7. I'd be genuinely curious when the last time a non-sky 6 midfielder created 5 chances against Manchester city in the PL.
  8. all the ex-pros in media almost never take in to account the fan reactions about almost anything outside of scum 6 club fans. Brighton fans booing the team off the pitch, us booing Grealish etc.
  9. I wonder who they will go for next as manager. They are in need of a reset, like we got when NSWE took over. Setting up a football structure, vs where they have employed very dissimilar head coaches for a while with no set strategy or plan
  10. Our midfield is just so much more dynamic when he is playing
  11. Luiz, Nakamba & Watkins have been pretty good so far imo
  12. All the US- based analysts seem to be gushing over him. the 2 Robbies have been speaking very highly of him for the last week
  13. I wanted to try a save and see who took over from Ole at United so I found a database for that. Open up the save and run it for a week, and Ole is back in a job there having turned down Cardiff.
  14. Our problem is that we've managed to lose games we should've drawn, so we have only 1 draw this season.
  15. FWIW the PL just signed a 6 year broadcast extension with NBCUniversal for the broadcasting rights over here stateside.
  16. Yep. Richard Masters, Premier League Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to announce our new US broadcast deal with NBC Sports, who have been brilliant partners for the Premier League over the last nine seasons. NBC Sports has significantly strengthened the popularity of the League in the United States in that time through its fantastic coverage and promotion. “NBC Sports’ Premier League Mornings programming is now a real institution among supporters in America, with fans getting up early to come together and cheer on their favourite club, week in, week out. "It’s an exciting time for football in the US and we look forward to continuing to work with NBC Sports to bring our competition to even more fans over the next six years.” Pete Bevacqua, NBC Sports Chairman, said: “We are excited to come to this long-term extension with the Premier League. Our Premier League team, led by Jon Miller, has been incredibly dedicated to growing the Premier League in the United States over the last nine years. "This new agreement is also a testament to the hard work of production, marketing and other areas of our company, as well as the tremendous partnership that has been established with the leadership and club owners of the Premier League.” Last month, the Premier League and NBC Sports took the Premier League Mornings Live fan festival to Los Angeles. The two-day event gave supporters an opportunity to celebrate their love of the Premier League and watch the NBC studio team broadcast the weekend’s matches live from the LA Memorial Coliseum. Tens of thousands of fans in the US have attended Premier League Mornings Live events to date and they are part of the League’s ongoing commitment to bring unique experiences to supporters around the globe. EMEA sales process complete The Premier League has already completed its international broadcast sales processes in Europe, Middle East and Africa (see full list here) and will now begin that process in the rest of the Americas and Asia Pacific. The announcement of the new US broadcast deal follows the Exclusion Order agreement with UK Government relating to the three-year renewal of the Premier League’s UK broadcast deal. Support for all the English game These deals will enable the League to invest £1.6billion of broadcast revenue outside of the League to lower-league and non-league clubs, the grassroots game and communities; continuing the Premier League’s support for all levels of the English game. It was announced earlier today that an extra £20million will be paid to EFL League One and League Two clubs this season. A new package of £5million extra will support clubs in the top-three National League divisions until 2025. Masters added: “Interest in the Premier League is going from strength to strength and it is great to see the growing global demand to watch our matches and engage with the League. "Our international and domestic broadcast revenues over the next cycle will give stability and certainty to the game as a whole, which is particularly important as football recovers from COVID-19 losses. “We are proud to provide more investment into our football pyramid than any other football league in the world.” NBC Sports extends broadcast deal with Premier League
