I don’t see any reason that Bissouma would move from Brighton to us. He will have offers from clubs much higher than us I also would stay away from the situation until there is more clarity

I think the problem is that you can probably group arguably 8/10 midtable PL team's center backs and they're all going to be around the same level of quality. It's the problem when the scum 6 can just come and take the best players

mentioned this in the Watkins thread. We should either have ollie or Ings at the #9 role & the other as a sub. Putting both of them on the field just gives more problems. For me, Ollie shouldn't be starting on the left over any of our options there like El Ghazi, Trez, Traore, Carney or JPB etc.

there are games where he should start & Ings on the bench, and games where Ings starts & he's on the bench. He really shouldn't be starting over any of El Ghazi, Trez, Traore, Carney or JPB on the left IMO

Room for optimism after seeing today. Looked like he can cope with the pace etc, and got the 75ish minutes under the belt. Not sure he is a starter for this year but with COVID, very good squad option for where we are at

excited to see him getting more and more opportunities on the pitch. Think today was a catch up to PL speed day, got caught on the ball a few times but IMO that's good for getting him this experience at his age.

Can tell he has quite some talent there, he just needs it to shine through on matchday. Tries to be cute very often (and that's where his highlights come from) but he needs to make the simple passes at times.

Need to get him to sign an extension ASAP. Clear talent there Had several through passes, even one from our own 18-yard box.

and you know what his attitude is how? has he shown any unprofessionalism in his time at Villa? Maybe he is frustrated when he misplaces some of his passes and shows emotion with that during games / when he gets taken off....

Thought we played well, it's just the gulf in quality. Chelsea sub on a 100 million striker who can dominate pretty much anyone. a couple mistakes cost us chances and when we had opportunities, players didn't take them on.

well yeah, but not sure that MLS would approve (if they even had a say) plus he's a homegrown talent. A tad surprised there hasn't really been more player movement between the City Group Clubs

Was wondering if we could be in on this kid. Can play at CDM and CB and would likely not cost that much compared to other options. Is a US international as well, which could also help with marketing stuff over here...
