Kinda stolen from the Paul Lambert thread. Sorry P3te!

But anyway, how many points do you think we'll get from the next 7?

 Hull (A),  - Draw

Spurs (H) - Lose

Everton (H) - Lose

West Ham (A) - Win

Cardiff (H) - Draw

WBA (A) - Draw

Sunderland (H) - Win

I think 9 points.

Its impossible to predict this type of thing. In the first six games how many would have predicted us to beat Arsenal and City and loose to Newcastle. I think we'll get something from the two home games against Spurs and Everton. It could be 4 pts it could be 2 or 3 but we wont loose them both.

I'm being optimistic and saying 14 points from the next seven games. I think we'll beat Hull in much the same way we beat Norwich. I think Spurs will be a tough game and we'll get beat 0-2 or 1-2. Everton at home will be a tough game. Could be Benteke v Lukaku with a 1-1 draw on the cards. Cardiff will be tough, we'll still battle to a win though, maybe 2-0. West Brom away, always a tricky fixture but I don't think WBA are great this year, Man Utd win aside. 2-2 draw here. Sunderland well that's got 4-0. 5-0 written all over it.

Hey you stole it from me :P - But I just saw Brady is out for Hull which is fantastic news for us. I know we don't have Benteke either but still.

Hull - win

Spurs - lose/draw

Everton - draw/win

West Ham - draw/win

Cardiff - win

WBA - no idea

Sunderland - win

11-19 points

That's what I'd say for each game but, 19 points from 7 games? I wouldn't need a girlfriend any more.

So hard to predict which Villa will turn up these days, I'll be hoping we can get 11 though minimum to put us half way to 40 with 13 games played. Hopefully we can crash through the 50 point mark this year.

I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who we're playing and looking at the fixture list is fairly pointless.

We can win away at Arsenal one week, then lose at home to Newcastle the next.

I'd apply the formula that there's about a 50% chance of winning, regardless of who we happen to be playing.

if we can get anything more than 11 then that would be an amazing return. 10 is probably par for us I'd say over those games. anyone expecting we average more than 2 points a game for a 7 game streak is asking a bit much.

The weekend could play a big party determining how we fare. Good timing on the international break since we have a game after it that we're not going to cry about losing, since we rarely start back full troupe after a few weeks off
