Surprised they want a new CF. Martial and Rashford both had good seasons last year and Greenwood is being described as generational talent who wasn't far off 20 goals so that's three options for the main role right there although Rashford better out wide of course.

When you look at Man. United's problems it's De Gea not being good enough anymore for top level but his reputation is making it difficult for them to drop him, Lindelof being mediocre at CB and they can't get the right balance in central midfield with Pogba fit again.

Cavani has been a very good striker but feels a luxury signing.

Collector's item here....a rare post from me that actually aged well three hours later.

Pogba is poor as well. Great on his day but how many times is that? Not very often.

IMO,  it's as simple as he is not suited to the Prem ?

Good player,  wrong league ?

How much did they waste on him + wages?

(Even when he has time he seems to cause more trouble than anything else,  nothing great about him as a player for his time at manure.  Never looks comfortable on the ball.)

dont forget maguire being super overrated.....

I've actually rated him quite high in the past but it's clear the whole Greece episode has messed him up, awful start to the season for him.

Him, De Gea, Bailly and Lindelof is a real comedy hour at the back currently.

Pogba is a good player: Great range of passing, strong and very skilful.

Think he's bought into his own hype a bit too much though. He plays like that nonchalant bloke in Sunday League who used to be semi-pro and is head and shoulders above everyone else so just strolls around and plays completely at his own tempo.

Ole has to go now though, what is United's game-plan or identity? They are lucky Poch is still available, I assume he's just been waiting for the inevitable to happen.

Sure, but we're not Man United. Us losing 5-1 to Liverpool wouldn't be as bad a result as theirs.

No but you can imagine the reaction from everyone,  and it'll stop Rashica signing too!

Terrible performance from Man U. What they need is some sort of midfield general, to control the game for them, spray passes around, maybe drop a shoulder to go past players, draw in a few fouls to take the sting out of the opposition and set up some dangerous set pieces, if only such a player had been on their radar.....
