Chop chop! Lets all gawp at Newcastle (again)

Aye, Pardew has always been a confrontational idiot, MOTD showed three other examples down the years. Decent manager though if you look beyond that.

I'd happily take Lambert kung fu kicking people on the touchline if it meant we actually won a game 4-1 rather than the current malaise we're in. ;)

:P So easy to piss people off. I support Lambert, but watching Newcastle compared to Villa, Pardew's team plays a more beautiful game.

I'm sure if Lambert drops a headbutt on Bassong today you'll be in the Lambert thread singing his praises for being interesting then?
Get a grip. There are people on this very site who are happy to see some of our own players break a leg. That is what I think is a disgrace. Pardew barely touched him with his head. I think it is funny and stupid, but mostly the reaction of some people calling for jail time and worse...
Get a grip?! Bit random.

The point I was making was if Lambert did it, you and many others would use it as a stick to beat him with (rightly so in this case in my opinion)

You're implying in this thread that there's nothing in the headbutt. Whilst I don't agree, that's fair enough. And you're also implying that you'd like Lambert to be a bit more like that.

Am I wrong?

Yet we all know if that had been Lambert headbutting an opposition player there's no way you'd be complimenting him for it!

You don't know me. Don't speculate on ifs and buts.

You realise this is a discussion forum right? We don't need to know you personally to speculate on your opinion. If Stevo is wrong, say why. Discuss.

If you don't want to discuss then this probably isn't the place for you.

No, I didn't realize this was a discussion forum. Thank you for opening my mind! No one knows anything about my opinion on a speculative situation that may or may not occur. That is a fact. If this is a discussion forum, discuss your own opinions, not what I may or may not have an opinion on about something that has not happened and maybe never will happen. Maybe you should get lost, not me.

Didn't MON have a bit of an argy bargy with a Reading player at VP once? MON wouldn't give the ball back so the bloke shoved him out of the way and MON squared up to him. Nothing came of it though.

MON allegedly had a training ground fist fight with a man he paid more than £8m for and nothing came of that either. If your contract is worth enough money then you can behave badly and get away with it.  How many of us would still be in employment on Monday if we had headbutted somebody while at work on Saturday?

You two should have a fight, just so we know who's the best.

I remember him being tackled by a player from the other team and got a bit hurt and wouldn't take the appology he was offered, even though the tackle was totally unintended for him. Something like that. But he didn't do anything himself. He was just a bit pissed off.

I'm sure this incident was against Reading. The player was American I think.

he wasn't, it was James Harper, in a 3-1 win against reading in 2008. the ball went out of play by the dug out, MON turned round to pick it up and Harper barged him out the way, O'Neill turned round and squared up to him before Harper ran back on the pitch
