Is he the one who has just scored a hat trick

they've just been relegated too so he'd probably be cheap

his finishing has been very good but his touch isnt good at all, a fair bit seems to have bounced off him

Is he the one who has just scored a hat trick for Uruguay ?

they'd also expect a return on their investment and at 25 - 30m it would take to get him off us and 12 months wages at 80k per month, that makes a financial return less doable

At first take, your post sounds like nonsense, Richard.

yeah ive had a quick look, most of them dont seem too fussed, £12m for villa a better move than £30m benteke etc

i did like the comment on how on his day adebayor is better... not sure when those days are cos i dont think ive ever seen one...

And you can just imagine it all being said in a Chas and Dave type 'yap yap yap yap, 'ees an 'appy cockerney, guv'nor etc' type patter.

Stroll on Tottingham.

An off season gives teams a lot of time to develop new strategies for stopping a player. When you can do so and possibly stop 50% of a team's goals, that work goes in even harder.

How many teams do you reckon will spend a portion of their preseason working on a plan to stop benteke in all honesty?

it only takes 1 to stop him and other teams will follow that

We should adopt the Levy approach to a foreign team its 30million, to you Spurs its 40million. We should not sell to Spurs, if we do that we might aswell give up.

Pity we dont have a Levy on our "board". Love him or hate him, he is doing a top job at Spurs.

but wasnt always the case. he made mistakes at start. I think Faulkner is improving at his job

Don't see why the board should be getting stick over what may or may not happen here. Lerner and Faulkner have a good record of getting above market rate for our in demand players - even with the Ireland situation. Don't think it would be any different with Benteke.

That is how rappers behave. Most of them do not stay millionaires long.
