He'll be an England right back within 2 years.

Don't think he will get ahead of Johnson though, for some bizarre reason managers are always enamoured by Glen **** Johnson.

Its a travesty that wasn't a contender for the beebs GOTS!

Unbelievable.

Lowtons was better than all of the contenders. It just so happened to occur in the same month as RVP's offside 'wonder' goal that he scored almost identically in the season before when he was at arsenal. Not so rare...

Gary Neville is the only widely respected British football pundit and it was his GOTS. That's what counts.

The BBC does weird stuff like employ the nations worst child sex predator for 40 years and cover it up (Jimmy Saville).

Not giving Lowton GOTS shouldn't surprise anyone.

I have a feeling in a couple of years there's going to be a new Godwin's Law just for Jimmy Saville...

More relevant is that they employ Mark Lawrenson, Garth Brooks and Mark Wright for god's sake, why would you ever listen to those clowns at MOTD? Gary Neville is brilliant and he not only chose it as his goal of the season for the sheer brilliance of it, but for its significance for our season and he was right on the money.

Its mainly to do with the club he plays for though in fairness to Joihnson he was one of England better players at Euro 2012

Not just England, Johnson has been preferred at club level by 4 consecutive Liverpool managers now. There must be something about him I'm missing...

He's the English Cafu! Or, perhaps more accurately, since our very own Alan Hutton is the Scottish Cafu, he's really just the English Hutton?
