AvfcTheObsession
and how did they get the ball? We more than held our own We had 36% possession. We were just very clinical when we went forward, can remember us having 4 good chances all game, the 3 goals and Weimann blazing over from a one-on-one early in the second half. CI
Is on the front of tomorrows programme. Hope that's not a bad omen
Condimentalist
To be fair to the guy I thought he was genuinely outstanding when he came on tonight. Looked like the player we thought we'd signed in pre-season.
Kingfisher
I've always quite rated him. Passing is good and he can shoot from distance. I'm surprised he hasn't seen more game time.
Zatman
very good performance tonight from him. had an extra bit of pace tonight and a bit of grit
HeyAnty
Hard to judge as utd just shut down in second half. Did well though
Con
Hard to judge as utd just shut down in second half. Did well though Not voluntarily. Had we stuck with Delph/Westwood in midfield for the second half who knows what the score would have been.
Villa87
Should have played three in the middle at the expense of N'Zogbia. KEA on this showing might get a run out against Sunderland.
Big_John_10
He's looked awful in proper games. Not sure how much you can read into a 2nd half performance against a team 3-0 up knowing they've won the league.
Con
He's looked awful in proper games. Not sure how much you can read into a 2nd half performance against a team 3-0 up knowing they've won the league. He still managed to outshine Delph 'look busy' and Westwood, who almost succeeded in knee-capping another Premier League star. PaulC
He looked the best of our midfield when he came on.
KennyPowers
He looked the best of our midfield when he came on. No question he did enough to merit a start next game. I'm not sure Lambert picks the team based on how players play in the games though.
8pints
I thought he played well when he came on. He has struggled with the pace in the past but he's been brought on or played against some of the biggest teams,
MagicMushroom
Did ok. Start him against Sunderland? Couldent do worse than the others, and adds more security behind a front three. Playing four attackers is brave, but also a touch rash.
Zatman
him or Sylla probably should have started as 4 attackers was bold but suicidal
Keyblade
He's looked awful in proper games. Not sure how much you can read into a 2nd half performance against a team 3-0 up knowing they've won the league. Circumstances are irrelevant. He played well. Period. lexicon
Did his job very well yesterday - hopefully it'll continue. He certainly wouldn't be first the first midfielder we've had that took time to adjust to the league and settle.
villan_007
That strike was cracking - great save from De Gea. Always rated him from the first part of the season, he dropped off big time though and really struggled with the pace of the prem, looked very good last night to the point I had to double check it was him. Nabby
What happened when he came on ( and granted United did back off ) was to put pressure on Rooney who was dictating play as no one could get close to him. This stopped supply line to RVP so in that regard he did well.
