Better than a gambling company...

Had a look at Chelseas partners because that stuff always makes me laugh

Looks like Nike and trivago are the main ones, trivago do the training kit so they don't have a sleeve sponsor yet either

They then have cadburys as global chocolate partner, EA sports, FICO as their official pre season partner, Hilton as their global hotel partner, Levy restaurants as their restaurant partner, msc as their cruise partner, Oman air as their airline partner, parimatch as their gambling partner*, rexona as their official global deodorant partner, singha as beer partner, still saying 3 as a partner and then tmgm as their trading partner

Heck has one hell of a job on to catch up with this bullshit

* Chelseas website doesn't say gambling anywhere, they're an international product company apparently whatever that means

See Chelsea who finished 12th have just signed a new £40mill per season 3 year deal with Infinite Athlete …

Chelsea have agreed a new £40+million-a-season shirt sponsorship deal with American technology giants Infinite Athlete.

Heck has one hell of a job on his hands - games rigged & crooked to its core.

Did you honestly believe sponsors decide how much they are willing to pay based on most recent finishing position? The sad reality is anywhere you go in the world (bar one small Ghanaian village) more people will have heard of Chelsea than Aston Villa.

It'll be interesting to see how two or three bad season affect them though.

(Looking at you Tottenham).

He has but success brings ghese sponsorships in. If chelsea were finishing around 10th each season for next 10 years their sponsership deals wont be as big as that.

They have been  a CL side fod years and won it a few times therefore makes them a big deal. We can attract more and bigger sponsorshipa with continuted success somwthing we havent had in years

This is our break through season,  a few good results and some great games starting with newcastle and the media will start to take notice of us and with that sponsors, Chelsea are on the decline and we are on the way up.

but thats the issue, if chelsea have all these sponsors and revenue streams established and £200m+ to spend every window then realistically how long will they stay 10th?

the system is designed so that they dont, its only their own **** ups that would keep them down there

If it is going to happen, it will happen in the next three or four seasons. We’ve never been in a better position to push on

Are they a genuinely independent sponsor? If so I'm surprised they managed to get such a huge deal given the uncertainty over their current position. That deal going to look pretty foolish for infinite athlete if Chelsea continue to make a mess of their squad. I get that it's likely Chelsea will be back among the top 6 this season, but it's a pretty big gamble

They entered into partnership with them earlier this year and have now rebranded themselves and become title sponsors.

It comes after a recent rebrand, which saw the previous name of Tempus Ex Machina shelved in favour of Infinite Athlete.

In April 2023, Chelsea entered into an agreement with sports technology company Tempus Ex Machina to form a seven-year partnership 'to power innovative technology enhancements for the club and our global fanbase'.

Earlier in April, Infinite Athlete acquired Biocore, a biomechanics engineering firm led by Jeff Crandall, with the intention of offering Biocore’s proprietary technology to all partners.

The company already has a close relationship with the NFL, as Crandall chairs the league's engineering committee, which advises on injury reduction. while they also have a remit within PAC-12 that includes 'injury spotting and other athlete health uses'.

Increasing commercial revenue is easy - just do what Chelsea do!

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/08/09/chelsea-shirt-sponsorship-deal-value-infinity-management/

I was shocked how insideous football is with all the connected ownership of other businesses in the football ecosystem. It's a massive conflict of interest that has gone unchecked for far too long.

Boehly grassed his own club up as he wanted to look to be going straight with the PL from the off, before proceeding to spend the GDP of Moldova in one window

Bit weird to put your own club in that position, I guess it’s like pleading guilty before a trial because you know the evidence is overwhelming so you hope to get a lesser punishment.

So now 2 of the so called Big 6 have basically cheated their way to years at the top, terrific.

Of course they'll only get a fine from the PL.

The old owners aren't there so you can't punish them.

The new owners didn't do anything wrong (at least not in terms of what is being investigated currently) and reported the breach themselves.

There's no way they'd justify giving them a points deduction that impacts them sportingly.

In the case of Man City, the same owners are still there, and they tried to hide whatever they'd done wrong... so whatever they hit Chelsea with, Man City should get much worse.
