tonyh29 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Yeah just been reading about it ... his son is only around 30 and though he appears to have the military backing and support from China I'm off there in April will be there for Kim Il Sun's 100th birthday celebrations , maybe I'll get lucky and they will combine it with reunification ...
Awol Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 On the day that the US complete their withdrawal from Iraq too. Seems the old boy had a sense of timing..
tomzep Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Im living in Daejeon at the moment, very exciting in my school right now. Kids runnign around and staff phoning family to see if they have heard. These hundreds of possible outcomes from this, I studied this scenario for a while at uni and presonally I wouldnt say his son has the backing of the military, but will be used by them to control the country.
LondonLax Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 China don't want to have to feed an extra 20 million starving people. They were quite happy the border is closed.
Shillzz Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 The world certainly seems a ronerier place this morning...

bickster Posted December 19, 2011 Moderator Posted December 19, 2011 Are you thinking what I'm thinking? I've seen the plans for the gravestone, they are very nice and pleasing to the eye. My only criticism is that the dance floor should be much bigger.
The_Rev Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 On a serious note, she is getting a state funeral when she dies. I think the only other PM to get one was Winston Churchill, and you know, he kinda won the second world war. Maggie introduced the poll tax and shut down this countries mining industry. Fair?
