moose
Guzan used to be a flapper, this seems to have changed over night, or did i imagine that? He did used to be a tad uncertain but yes, that's definitely changed. He's matured significantly as a keeper.
wiggyrichard
Really happy for him that he now looks like being Given (see what i did there?!) a chance to establish himself as #1. No concerns at all about having him etween the sticks.

Stevo985 Posted September 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 5, 2012 His commanding presence has Fried-el the defenders to concentrate on their own game. Tenuous?

GarethRDR
If Guzan continues his fine form we'll certainly see grist for the mill.

R.Bear
Catches everything, claims everything, marshals the box. I love you Brad!!
P3te
hopefully we can offload given if brad keeps this up. i think shay strikes me as the kind of chap who'll move to play to be honest, so hopefully we won't have a repeat of trying to get rid of our big waged subs

ronk-villa
he was class again today. well done Brad. held a header late on too that could have been a goal if he'd have spilled it or palmed it out! I'm very impressed
CrackpotForeigner
Against Swansea and Newcastle I experienced something I haven't for ages: When the ball's heading for the Villa goal and you're thinking "oh ****'s sake, here we go", and then it's "hang on, the 'keeper's saved it!" ronk-villa
at half time in the Everton game, I turned to me mate and claimed that I could have stopped the Piennar goal. (I'd definately have stopped the Fellaini header).....Brad's save from Dyer today proved those are stoppable. Given wouldn't have got to that anymore. VillaGoMarching
Another top draw save, a shot not as good as that beat Given in our last home game.
Daniel
He was Brilliant today. I think Lambert got the decision right to drop Given for the last 2 games. He made 2-3 really good saves today.
kurtsimonw
If he keeps this up and avoids injury, Given's got no hope of getting back in.
AVFCforever1991
Get rid of given, no point having a backup keeper on 50k a week.
