MWARLEY2
Too many seasons of treading water leads to this situation. Too many managers in too short a time . I like Everton as a club but their fans are becoming insufferable. I would say that relegation might be the best thing for them but they have a 700 million black hole of a stadium . Onana you would get good money for and maybe Antony Gordon as well but the rest are either old OR injury prone or just plain old AND injury prone. gwi1890
They should have sold Gordon for £60m when they had the chance

After that, Everton have Arsenal home then Liverpool away. Knowing Everton they'll lose to West Ham then beat Arsenal.
gwi1890
Unbelievable the amount of players they’ve paid £25m + for that have either been released or out on loan. Scary much they’ve wasted.

sidcow Posted January 16, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted January 16, 2023 I literally cannot believe Lampard is still there. He's leading them straight to relegation. What were their board thinking when they appointed him and what on earth are they thinking now? If you're down the bottom then lose at home to the last placed team you're going down for sure. 1

desensitized43
How long can the Everton board allow this to go on for? Part of me thinks they’re delaying the inevitable because they want the January window closed so they don’t have to back the next guy.
JoshVilla
Didn't realise Idrissa Gueye is back at Everton - must have missed that one. Looking increasingly likely that he'll have another relegation on his CV...

useless
Lampard has had 38 league games as their manager now, they've just taken 35 points from those games, with a negative 28 goal difference. Next two games for them are Arsenal and Liverpool.

Demitri_C
They are in **** huge trouble. I bet they dont have many relegation clauses in their players contracts. How much did they pay for mcneil? He has flopped badly there as many others have
