sexbelowsound
80 mins Fabian Delph may well be man-of-the-match. He's been excellent, winning it, giving it easy, zipping passes out wide. Still won't start against Switzerland though. Of course not, but hey, who gives a shit. I want him fresh for Villa.

Popular Post Mantis
Only saw the last 5 mins Sterling seemed to be mouthing off to Delph at the end ... Followed by Delph appearing to tell him to do one Any idea what that was about ? Sterling asked him to put in a transfer request and join Liverpool.
sexbelowsound
So, didn't watch the match. Delph was good then? You know the way England just seem to pass it sideways and then eventually try an overly ambitious pass with no end result? Well when Delph came on he sort of interrupted that. In fact, they seemed quite confused really as to what was going on.
villa4europe
He gave England lots of energy after a piss poor lethargic I'm gonna get picked so I don't give a shit performance from some of the others, won the ball and kept it really simple, just couldn't get the ball back from welbeck / sterling / sturridge despite good runs and good positioning

Sam3773
There was a short pass in our own half that was just intercepted. Only one I can think of.

DCJonah
Sounds like he played well. Good news. I remember when other fans laughed at the idea of Barry playing international football. Delph is the same, other fans have no clue how good he is. I think he could play for the top teams in the prem.

sonic_bouma
Didn't watch the game because Hodgson and England bore me to tears but really chuffed Delph seems to have put on a good show. Hopefully he will get some game time against Switzerland and be a regular squad member. Well done Super Fab!

Avfc96
Delph played well, if England picked players on performance then Delph would start ahead of Wilshere but we all know they won't.

B94villa
The same Paddy Power who ran a classless public campaign advertising odds on the outcome of the Pistorius trial. Who honestly cares what they think?
