barry'sboots
I thought it was a little bizarre to bring him back in for a start. I would have expected a couple of 30 minutes or so as a sub at least to get him back to match fitness i.e. ease him back in gradually. I know football is not about keeping everyone happy but this must have really hacked off NRC as well - if we do have aspirations to keep him I can't imagine this helped. I think you can then assume that we have no aspirations to keep NRC, if his salary demands are correct as reported in the press, then that is completely understandable, plus the fact, I think we could improve on NRC quiet easily. Agreed. He's committed and has a good engine, but he's not good enough on the ball.

Maradona10
Think there going to set up a practice match for him.
InMartinWeTrust
Saw him in Mechu on Friday along with Weimann, Curtis Davies and Lee Hendrie. As Maradona10 mentioned he's been giving the knee a bit of rest but they are hoping to step him up with a practice game behind closed doors during the week. claret75
Hopefully he'll be ready for next season, shame he hasn't had the chance to get a bit more experience in this one.
SoccerHQ
Clear he was rushed back against Spurs, amazed he started that game.
beasley14
Probs shouldn't have started although to be fair he was fine until Milner booted the bad knee. I don't even think it is injured now just think they are been over cautious and resting it, which i think is a good idea.
dudevillaisnice
I don't think he's injured to be honest, they are just being cautious with it and rightly so.
Maradona10
He's been training as in the pics from Friday, as DVIN says being cautious with him, think he'll be pencilled in for B'burn.
jonno_2004
@MatKendrick Fabian Delph just pretended to smack #avfc commentator Jack Woodward over the head with a chair when he started singing here at Acorns! :notworthy:
