Paddy's "Things that cheer you up"

It's my birthday weekender.

I've been to 3 gigs in 3 days.

Watched some football yesterday.

Bought this 1970's radio:

Just put a massive pork roast in the oven (!).

Red Arrows are due to fly over my garden in about an hour's time (no, really).

I've just about got the shakes under control now, I think I had a bad bag of nuts up the club yesterday....

Pissing down with rain and people still going out in vests, shorts and flip flops. What cheered me up though was seeing a bloke dressed in the aforementioned trip over and land in a puddle. I laughed so hard I think I have dislodged a lung

and dating arab women, she's got a curvy ass and lovely big boobies :P

Up until Friday I somehow had a version of this site without any adverts on it despite having not donated.  I was living the dream.  But then I couldn't access it for a day and when it came back it had adverts at the top of the page, and not a booby in sight so far.

Oh absolutely 100%.  I looove those ads.  She is gorgeous.  And the soft Aussie accent definitely makes it a whole lot better.  Anyone know her name?  Asking for a friend.  Further research etc :wub::wub:

Gabrielle K. Miller, an Aussie based in Berlin.

The new girl on our team, 19 and hot.

Although I did get a bit sad when I realised she was at Primary School when I started here.

So then... What's Paddywhack going to say to weird her out?

I see.

So to further expand on my Holy Grail reference, all this time I thought we were working in a similar way to King Arthur and Sir Bedivere to find this beauty, yet all this time you've been this guy....

I love the English language.

I never knew that's where "Give him the needle" came from. This kind of thing fascinates me.

Nice one, Michael. I've never seen Neil Young, and I think it's high time. Must check his tour dates :detect:

You should - although he is notoriously unpredictable; we were lucky enough to catch him on an especially good night.

But I didn't just mean the gig - I also meant the whole weekend catching up with old friends - people I've known for over forty years. As I get older and start losing them, I appreciate the ones still around all the more.
