PussEKatt
The trouble with Chelsea is R.A. He sticks his finger in too much. They would be a better team if he let the manager get on with it. I hate Chelsea anyway.
AVFCforever1991
Well with the way RDM set his team out last year, I wouldn't expect to much attacking play.
dudevillaisnice
Sahin to Arsenal (?) on loan till 2013.. Sad really but he needs a good season under his belt and he'll get that with Arsenal imo. Also next season Xabi will be 31 and will play less games which is ideal for Sahin to step in next season.
AVFCforever1991
Sahin would be a great signing for Arsenal..
jacketspuds
Carroll would be a fool to go to West Ham this summer. If they stay in the Premier League next season then it will be a bit different but they could go straight back down. I also think West Ham would be stupid to splash £17m on another striker when clearly other areas of their team need strengthening first.
FamousHolteUnion
No chance Carroll will go to West Ham, I very much doubt they actually have the money to bid the reported 17-18m for him, as somebody said in the other thread it really seems like a Doug-type bid to draw in season tickets
villa4europe
thing is if carroll plays hard ball and refuses to leave i cant see rodgers / liverpool leaving him to rot, he might only be a bit part player and would have to work really hard to get into and stay in the 1st team but surely thats better than moving to west ham? Troglodyte Posted July 28, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted July 28, 2012 Şahin would be good anywhere. Quite similar to Wilshere, so it would be interesting to see how they work together.
CI
Why on earth are C5 showing the Southampton v Ajax friendly live today ?? I mean seriously wtf !
AVFCforever1991
Sahin i imagine will be a deep lying playmaker, whereas Wilshere is more getting in the box and running with the ball..
Troglodyte Posted July 29, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted July 29, 2012 Apparently Mellberg might be off to Anderlecht, after a potential move to Toronto fell through.

djamfisher
West Ham have agreed a deal with Liverpool over the loan signing of Andy Carroll If anyone out there was in any doubt about how West Ham would play this season, then this signing has put an end to them. BOF Posted July 31, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 31, 2012 If anyone out there was in any doubt about how West Ham would play this season... ... then they knew nothing about football. Sam is their manager. /discussion

Tomaszk
Amusing nugget: If Andy Carroll scores 30 league goals next season for which ever team he's playing, and Liverpool still want to sell...they still won't get £35m.
irreverentad
For those on Twitter. If you like to laugh at West Ham, then have a look at David Sullivan's son, Jack on twitter. He feeds their fans hope then seems to always let them down. @jsullivanwhu Latest news re Carroll: "Big deal-we can’t persuade the player to come, but we have not given up on it."
