PieFacE Posted April 10, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 10, 2017 Maybe this is one for the boring thread, I don't know... But about 6 weeks ago I was playing badminton and fell over, as I fell I put my left arm out naturally to break the fall and put all my weight on it. That evening my wrist started to swell and was in a bit of bad state. Anyway, I've had a load of anti-inflammatory and strapped my wrist up for a few weeks and all the swelling etc went down. Though, there's one part of my wrist that still really **** hurts if I put any kind of pressure on it (like, pushing down on a knife when trying to chop something), I can't bend it properly either. What do I do about getting this sorted? Do I go to my local GP about it or are they just going to say there's nothing they can do? I kinda feel like I'd be wasting their time but i'm not sure how else to go about getting it fixed.
Chindie Posted April 10, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 10, 2017 Get your GP to look at it. They can make the decision for you then of whether it's something that just needs more time to heal or whether it's something you need to visit hospital for.
HanoiVillan
Definitely go to your GP, you've obviously damaged it. I broke my left arm by doing basically the same thing. I'm not saying yours is broken, but it hurts for a reason.
PieFacE Posted April 10, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 10, 2017 Yeah, I just didn't know if it would be better to see a physician, dunno, I always try and refrain from using my local GP unless it's something semi-urgent. I've booked an appointment anyway, thanks all.
Xela
Accept your hand is useless and cut if off. Then get a fancy robotic hand. Either that or an NHS walk in centre.
NurembergVillan Posted April 11, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 11, 2017 Currently trapped on the M6 a couple of miles behind this. Annoying thing is I'd pulled into Sandbach services to take a call and would've been past that area before it happened. Now I'm stuck here and desperate for a piss. NurembergVillan Posted April 11, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 11, 2017 I'll piss on the grave of whoever decided the whole M6 needs to be roadworks, hence no hard shoulder.
chrisp65
the fire probably isn't the issue, it's every loser going past needing to have their gratifying little look
Xela
Is it sad i'm trying to work out what it is. ADL E400 or a Wrightbus Gemini? Surely not a Scania Omnidekka? I think I've answered my own question! That's what 9 years specialising in sales in a certain industry does

Xela
Quote An Ohio woman has been charged with raping a cab driver at knifepoint before she and another man robbed him, according to police. Brittany Carter, 23, is accused of performing a sex act on the 29-year-old driver while Corey Jackson, 20, allegedly held a knife to his throat. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39568635 She looks seven shades of mental. Still, she scrubs up well in the 2nd picture. What a strange scenario

Rodders
A healthy use of the ignore function sanitises the place up a bit. And tbf there's only really one miserably argumentative bug to splatt.

I never use the ignore function although once I did look at my ignore list and found 2 users on there who I had no recollection of 'ignoring'! I soon un-ignored them. I wonder how many people ignore me?

Xela
Quote Hundreds of people have been spotted taking advantage of the Easter break in typical British fashion - by having a big night out. But many revellers will not be having such a good Friday today after they were seen looking worse for wear in Liverpool and Birmingham last night after making the most of the start of the four-day weekend by hitting the pubs and clubs. The good old British night out! Some right states! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4411152/Easter-revellers-end-worse-wear.html
