Classic example of why Tielemans is a liability in central midfield 🤦‍♂️

Yep, knew this would happen. He can’t play in the pivot. Move him to 10, get Tim on for Rogers and Diaby on for Duran.

I’d be looking at bringing Cash, Digne and Diaby on for Lenglet, Moreno and Rogers.

Just hasn’t worked so far. Get in at HT only 1-0 and sort it out.

Yeah, exactly what I'm thinking. Rotation if nothing else, but those three have all been pretty poor and Digne, Diaby deserve the game time based on recent form.

That turned into a pretty tough watch, though we should probably have had a penalty, don't get why he's allowed to wave his hand around there to block the cross. It's still salvageable but almost needs West Ham to do something stupid, which we've had a monopoly on so far

Not letting people take a corner they've just won because time's up always feels like kind of a dick move

Need to get Diaby on, probably for Duran who looks completely outmatched. Probably also Digne for Moreno. We have to be able to try something different in the final third other than just stroking it around.

So what is it Unai?

So teams never have a lazy game?

Mainly fatigue.

Nervousness.

Youth and inexperience.

Pressure.

Getting used to tactical changes.

Any combination of these things and more.

But of course, if you have fewer than ten brain cells, the easiest conclusion to draw is that these professional footballers who are pushed by a world class coach and on the verge of qualifying for a major competition that would take their careers to the next step are choosing to be lazy at this point of the season.

Could have played either striker or hit one himself. Did neither. Just about sums up our attack this half.

He shouldn't have hit it, he should have found Duran who would have been 1-on-1 with the last defender. It's poor and I feel Duran's frustration, it's happened more than once over the last few months with Bailey failing to see him! His decision making is still very poor at times.

We’ve been the better team but West Ham know how to defend and they will cross balls all day and cause us trouble.

If we keep playing we will score here.

Cash Konsa Pau Digne

Bailey Luiz Tim Tielemans

Diaby Watkins

Sort this absolute shit show our. The Rogers and Duran experiment just hasn’t worked. Really surprised both have started.

Going to be the new tactic to avoid conceding a pen.  Point at an arbitrary spot on the area as a player comes down the wing. Joke joke joke

Thought first 15 looked comfortable, without creating a great deal, but better in possession.

Then we shoot ourselves in the foot, gift them a goal and it's given them the ascendancy, and confidence to take over.

We're still in this, but as ever the term "next goal is crucial" ever been more apt.

Come on Villa, a win here would be absolutely MASSIVE!

Need changes ASAP. Playing right into There hands now, they’ll just sit back while we create  nothing, and pick us off on the counter.

I don’t see us creating much the way things are currently, we look idealess and lacking any drive or pace. Also not sure what Duran and Rodger’s offer at all

I don’t understand how a decent cross can get to their only player in there unmarked, with of ours in there

Same issues weekly and we see no improvement baffling and we have a set pieces coach school boy stuff.
