Villa are worse. Anything the ref does shouldn’t be that relevant unless it’s game changing.

So shit. Yet again in a cup game.

Totally disagree here. The biggest impact a ref can have is in the little decisions that stop the team from being able to play or challenge for the ball.

Luiz too? We do rely so heavily on a few individuals…

The squad is not all that deep or strong… midfield options are weak/light

That’s the difference between us and other sides at the top… we can’t afford to lose key players…

I've said it before. Only 1 of our midfield needs to be out for the magic to collapse. I'm worried that he's not left McGinn on in those changes to be honest.

Why is it every cup game we have to bring on the big guns even though the team should be more than capable of disposing the opposition.

TO be fair we've hit the post, should have had a pen and the keeper has saved a couple.

Duran has had fa to work with yet got two decent shots away first half. Just made a dangerous run a couple of minutes ago and Bailey ignored it.

No chemistry with the other players who ignore him when he makes runs in behind or tries coming short.

Long way to go for the away fans and a late one,  Give them some reason to be there Villa

I could have gone today but decided not to because of the journey and the worry we'd not perform in the cup (again)

Unlucky not to be winning maybe, but it’s been very lacklustre again in the cup

Duran would thrive with Buendia or Tielemans playing. No-one is trying to find his runs currently.

Ahhhh. The Scott Hogan dilemma.
