I had a dream about this. So Haaland puts them 1 up but then Watkins equalises. But then for some reason it goes to extra time and penalties where 2 of my ex girlfriends end up playing. Villa are looking good to win the shootout with Robin Olsen saving a penalty but then the dream ended.

So make of that what you will.

hmmm, depends were the ex girlfriends playing for Villa or City? What was the sponsor on their kit? Viagra? Penis enlargement company?

Our best bet is hitting them on the counter like Spurs did and we need runners in order for this to work. Tielemans has to drop out for this one, Moreno and JJ would be the idea left side system as it means McGinn can stick to the RM slot where he is best.

I think it's unlikely Bailey starts back to back games and Diaby will come in but maybe the ideal plan of attack is to overload the right side with pace. Bailey RM and Diaby behind Watkins and attack Ake/Kovacic areas.

JJ left Watkins central and Bailey right to try and do what spurs did to their backline, would mean JJ playing higher up the pitch. Spurs often had their front three really wide and on the shoulders of the city defense. We don't really play a three but we should be trying to threaten in behind as much as we can. Especially at home. Be an interesting selection tomorrow, we really need to play a RB at RB and have Konsa central to get balance at the back too...

without Rodri theyll have to rethink who is gonna be the one to smash it in unmarked from the edge of the box after Villa clear a corner. or maybe we may choose to actually protect that area for a change!

Foden loves a goal past us as well so dont forget about him

Match officials deserve better. 5 game ban for Haaland, effective immediately, for his aggressive behaviour towards the ref would be fair, right? 😉

I hope, I am wrong....but I just simply don't think we have the ability to stop them. Their running and movement will trump us.

outscoring them is our only chance, I suspect.

crowd, will play a big part.
