Not saying there wasn't interest, but it's very clear from the reading of Ornstein that there wasn't serious interest, especially with the hip injury.

"Premier League rivals Aston Villa considered a move for Harrison but it is Everton who are set to get the transfer over the line."

It's funny how so many like the idea of us signing Harrison but were dead against us signing Barnes who is a far superior player. Weird.

Because Newcastle paid over £30m for him and he's not starting ahead of JJ

Probably the difference between 40m and a no obligation loan might have had something to do with it.

we probably spent around that on Diaby.

and if it were a case of just getting in players on the cheap, we may as well just litter our squad with average players from relegated sides then we'll definitely achieve our ambitions.

I absolutely refuse to believe the idea that Villa were just made aware of his injured. Fab is a moron to think people will buy that.

There's people in the comments that genuinely are.

Both Ornstein and Fab have had interesting weeks, didn’t Ornstein technically get the Caicedo situation wrong since he’s going to Chelsea now?

Anyway on to the next target if he’s joining Everton, I think it’s a good signing for them
