The pace of Moreno, Diaby and Harrison will cause problems. We have lacked pace for a good amount of time.

Yes that’s what Newcastle had on the pitch yesterday

Once Ramsey is back Harrison will mostly be his understudy, as far as back up options go he's not too bad

As back up to Chiesa and Ramsay he'd be pretty solid.  Different options for different types of matches.

I'd rather us just bolster the squad with Aaron Ramsey tbh.

Harrison has shown he can be effective in the Premier League under a decent manager.

We still need to balance the books, and the deal with Burnely with an unproven AJ will help with that as well as develop a player that we may want back.

No comparison in their roles for the club.

He was effective under Biesla's style of basketball matches.

Very much less so in Jesse Marsch's formation without much width so don't really see him being that effective.

Seems injuries have spooked us and we're suddenly falling into the trap of signing squad players to be starters when we need to be signing top level players who can push inconsistent players to the bench e.g. Diaby obviously would've benched Bailey but for the injuries we've had in last month.

Hmm definitely food for thought about whether he suits our system but I guess we'll see. If you think though that Ramsey is basically nailed on to come back in on the left is it really worth breaking the bank for another winger? We may only have limited funds left too this window so have to prioritise.

So it's a loan signing. Think this probably means no Zaniolo as they're both left footed wide players. Cover for Bailey being out

Zaniolo is a 10, different player. He's also right-footed.

You almost seem desperate for us to be signing Harrison instead of Zaniolo?

No just wondering why we are loaning both? We might be swooping for Harrison and dropping the Zaniolo deal.

We need to be realistic here. Our 2 first choice left sided midfielders (Ramsey and Buendia) are both injured. Ramsey should be back in about a month. We’re not spunking £30m+ on someone that will most likely be for cover. A loan with an option to buy is as near risk free  as we’re going to find.

Stop making sensible points!
