He’s a CM?

I was so happy with the Tielemans signing I probably should have put some context behind the post.

Replacement for Young in terms of a relatively cheap experienced head who is pretty versatile.

My original post made no sense in terms of the point I wanted to make.

If he is a replacement for Young then ok.

If he is because we’ve missed out on another target then no thanks.

Not sure in what way he's a replacement for Young given he dosen't play FB.

Fully behind Tielemans but not a clue why we're bothering with AOC. He's never fit and really hasn't done anything for years in rare games.

If Gerrard made this signing last summer he'd be getting endless pelters so interested how this signing genuinely goes down as he won't be signing just to be a mascot in the dressing room.

Emery didn't even manage him at Arsenal as he left in August 2017 so very bemused by this.

He struggled as a winger at Arsenal. Moving to Liverpool and centre midfield reignited him and had a decent couple of years. But he is always injured and would want a fortune. I’d pass on this one.
Yes he’s similar in style as JJ (who has a higher ceiling), but I’d say there are better options out there as a backup than him.

Hmmm Talkshite with a big scoop?....I will be shocked.

It's Alex Crook with this story.

Not sure how general reliable he is but he's generally based on South Coast so possible he could know AOC from him coming through at Southampton and probably texted him to ask about his future and got that response.

Honestly thought when he was saying the destination it would be someone like Bournemouth.

He was such a dangerous winger at an early age though. He's far too wasteful at CM for me.

Do we think this is BS though or legit? (The link, not my opinion before someone gets in there 🤣)

I’d guess the OP, sees young replacement in him being an experienced head in the squad, but I could be wrong

Don't really get this one after signing Tielemans.

Used to like Ox as a player a few years ago but been far too injury prone in recent years and will be 30 in August, don't see the need for him here.

It is Talksport though so take with a pinch of salt.
