The summer window was horrendous, and now this one hasn’t been ideal at all. It’s a missed opportunity (again) to press on and finally try and get somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I think we have tried to get people in, but they just aren’t interested in the project at the minute. If we can try and push up the league somehow with this squad, then that might help us in the summer. Otherwise we will just be aiming to sit still with squad players. Shame really. Not sure you can call a window in which we got Boubacar Kamara on a free “horrendous”. Can’t stand this “opportunity to press on” bollocks either. The players that fit the system and who are worth getting are either available or not. If they’re not, they ain’t coming and we wait until they are.
