Alex Crook works for talksport but I think is fairly reliable seems to think that Bournemouth are the team in talks with Danjuma with Everton also interested, doesn't mention us, I don't think we've actually been linked with him outside of fan speculation.

Dan Bardell seems pretty sure we will get him, if thats worth anything.

I think we would have done this one by now if UE genuinely wanted him. I reckon  he’s off to Bournemouth.

Up against Bournemouth and Everton?

Ha. If we want him, we get him.

Only interested if we can agree a fee before the loan. We've danced this dance before.

Ya Everton especially looking like real basket case, I'd be very surprised if they do any business

For Villa he's Tier 1.5. Overall a Tier 2.

Tier 5 🗑️ knows as much as Jon Snow

im torn with Danjuma, he did play well under Emery, but was that Emery raising his game?

Danjuma's performances/goal return isnt that great outside of the Emery/Championship era.

I think i would prefer us just buying a better player, and Emery raising them even further than he did Danjuma.

I dunno, if we get him, would support Emery regardless.

Given Chelsea will be trying to keep Chukwuemeka, Havertz, Mount, Pulisic, Ziyech, Fofana, Nkunku, Aubameyang, Mudryk, Sterling, Broja, Lukaku and Joao Felix* happy given they’ll be competing for 3 positions, I wonder if there is an opportunity there.

*I’m sure I’ve missed at least 2 others.

More tiers than Rik Waller's birthday cake.

None of them have warranted a move to be Leon Bailey's back up for me. Ziyech does fit our age criteria tho.

Danjuma at Villarreal: 20 goals on 22 xG (not including two Copa del Rey goals I don't see xG for)

Danjuma in two seasons at Bournemouth: 15 goals (all in the Championship) on 8.7 xG

Seems he took advantage of a bad league and has been very average everywhere else. Let Bournemouth or Everton overpay for him.
