I left on 91 minutes so not sure what this big mess up people are referring to. I actually think he's more effective actually starting games than just coming on for last 10-15 minutes as seems he struggles to get up to the pace as a sub. We turned down a bid from Everton on Deadline Day

Not sure he could be a starter for the greatest promoted team in English football history. TheMightyVillans
He had a lot of time on the ball and had an easy option to pass it off. Somehow managed to get tackled and lose the ball. An upgrade in Jan would be ideal but will probably be difficult to get rid of him.

JAMAICAN-VILLAN
In fairness to him, he has barely played, he's going to be in a perpetual state of " rustiness "
Nigel Posted October 30, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted October 30, 2023 He really needs game time to get up to speed. Shows the problem of a big squad.

MSvillain
Looks like he may be on his way out. ” Leander Dendoncker would no longer be part of Unai Emery's plans! A departure from Aston Villa would be likely but Leander would not want to leave England and would like to stay in the Premier League”
rodders0223
No brainer and an easy 7m -10m for a squad player we can afford to lose.
MotoMkali
Makes sense it's such a downgrade from either Luiz or Kamara to him. We'd need to bring in a replacement after for sure. Like I said I'd love Thuram or Caquaret.
KevinRichardsonsMoustache
He has sufficient premier league experience that we should be looking to sell him in January. However, the sort of clubs that would want him might hedge their bets if they're in a relegation scrap so a loan might suit everyone. Forest, Fulham or Bournemouth awaits, Leander. CVByrne
I'd loan him out for 2nd half of season, he's a good PL player and he can prove that. I'd loan him to Everton on Palace or someone similar. His value would be more in a summer market after playing half a season.

Demitri_C
Good. For me he has been a total flop. But 12m these days isnt much. I reckon a loan with biew to make permanent come jan. Id rather timmy gets a spot on bench than him
Tom13
Yeah he won't be a huge loss. For the most part he's done well when we've needed him though. Tim will be ideal for now. He'll likely be content with being a backup and the minutes he does get should be invaluable.
